Pink Cat New Release Thursday

Happy Thursday! Phew, what a week. I am definitely looking forward to Friday. Two more days till Halloween (yeah).

So it's Thursday and Thursdays = Pink Cat Studio's new digi release day! What till you see all the cute release this week. They are ALL adorable. I had actually printed out a whole bunch I was going to make, but ran VERY short on time. So, I decided to go with this newly released image and see what I could do.

Well, by the time I got to sit down to make my card, it was 8:45 pm last night. I had already got the kids up, ready and dropped them off at school, went to the library, went to my morning class, from there, I went to work, then cam home and got the kids off the bus, and then I had one hour to give them a snack, look over homework, kiss my hubby and kids goodbye, and then I was off to my evening class. I then cam home to kiss the kids goodnight and finally sat down to make my card. Well, needless to say, by the time I sat down to make my card I was EXHAUSTED. The creative juices were not flowing. Do you know that I sat in my craft room looking for a DP to use for over a hour. Oh my goodness. I was driving myself crazy (hehehe). Needless to say, I finally did come up with a card. I definitely went with colors that were out of my comfort zone. I used RED & PINK in the same card. Yikes. My BFF KDC is always telling my I am very reserved with my DP choices, and that was all I could think about when I was putting this card together. I am still not sure how I feel about this card, but what I am sure of is the image is absolutely adorable!!!!!

Have you had a chance to play in the PCS Digi Design Team guessing game? You should give it a try here. Melissa (owner) is giving away DIgi images. Also, if you get a chance you can click here to play along in the Digi Idea contest. all you have to do is leave Melissa a comment with a idea if a image you think would be a good idea. If she loves your idea, you win 10 free digi images. That is so worth a try.

Are you loving the new Pink Cat Digi Images? I would love to know if you have purchased any and which ones. I just LOVE them all. Well, that is all I have to today. Have a wonderful day and Happy Creating!

Witching you a Happy Halloween!

Happy Tuesday!!! How is your week going so far. I can't believe that Halloween is this Saturday. My family & I just love Halloween. The decorations, the costumes, and the celebrations.

Speaking of celebrations, every year we hold a neighborhood Halloween party/parade and we did this last Sunday. What a great time we had. All the neighborhood kids got dressed up, and they all gathered at my house for some goodies, and a get together. We had a great time. I am really looking forward to Halloween. It is supposed to rain, but I am hoping that it holds off. Do you have any special plans for Halloween?

For today's card, I used "Itty Bitty Betty-Broom Ride" digi image from Pink Cat Studio. This is a pretty simply card, but I did want to add a little dimension and pop dot the cat and frog. I used a some DP from my scraps stash and viola.
I don't know about you, but I make cards, mostly for challenges and such, and then they get thrown in a box and never to be seen again. Well, this year I am determined to mail out Halloween cards. I have made a bunch and they are going postal. Why do I hang onto them??? Do you mail your cards? what do you do with all your cards?
I wanted to share a few pics of the Halloween parade we hosted. The first pic is of our house. Every year my husband goes crazy with the decorations, but the kids love it. The second pic is of my husband and a skeleton he made this year. The skeleton is actually wearing some of my husbands old clothes. The third picture is of my kids. My daughter is a hippy girl, and my son is a Mario (from Mario brothers), and the last pic is of my fur babies. People think I am crazy, but I can't help myself, they look so cute......

Well, that is all for me today. I hope you're having a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by, and happy Creating!!!!

From Our Tree To Yours

Happy Thursday!!!! I have a two-fer for you today. Two challenges in one card. Today is Thursday, which means Pink Cat Studio's new Digi release, and Thursday's also= Three Clover Thursday challenge.

For my card today, I used pink Cat Studio's new Santa Owl in a tree digi image and combined it with Kerry's sketch challenge. You wee, that is the best challenge ever. Someone gives you an image and a sketch, and all you have to do is put your creative touches on the card. Doesn't get easier than that. When I first saw this image, I immediately thought of pinks, blues and purples, but when I was looking for pattern paper to match, I had nothing (not sure how that's possible). So, I came across this old BG paper and went with it. Yep, I used completely different colors, but I kinda like how it came out. Clean and simple. This card did end up being 5X5. Pretty big card. I like my images large (hehehe).

What do you think of the new releases? Aren't they super cute? Want to see more cards done with the PKS new release? Check out the blog. The DT did a amazing job with their cards and they are such a talented group of ladies. There are some big things going on over at the Pink Cat Studios this week. Melissa, the owner of PKS has a new tutorial here, which shows you how to use digi images, and she has also included a free Digi image for you to try. If you get a chance, go check it out.
Do you like contest? Do you have an idea for a stamp, and would like to see it turned into a image? Well, now is your chance. Pink Cat studio is holding a weekly contest. It is called the Digi Ideas Contest:
To enter the contest, leave a comment over at Pink Cat Studio's blog post and suggest an idea for a new digi stamp. Each week Melissa will select an idea and turn it into a digi stamp. The person who made the suggestion will receive the new digi for free in advance of the release and will be invited to create a card with it to be displayed on her blog during the new release. Sound like fun?!?

Well, that is all for me today I am off to work and then studying for a midterm tomorrow (last one, phew). Have a wonderful day and Happy Creating!!!!!!!!!!

There's a Lil' cowgirl in all of us!

Happy Wednesday. Phew, it has been a few days since I posted last. Wanna know why??? Mid-terms. Yup mid terms this week. This is the part of the semester, when I start wishing it was over. I am not a good test taker. I panic and double guess myself, and it is also at this point where all the professors load on a ton of work. I just have to keep think I made it 1/2 way I can make it to the next half right?

On a much happier note, toady is Inky Impressions Wednesday Challenge. It's a sketch challenge. My favorite. I have used Inky Impression "cowgirl" stamp, along with the Inky Impressions Sketch. The colors that I chose are very different for me, and I am not sure how I feel about them. What do you think? Is the blue to much? I also went a little crazy with my white pen.

Some big news to share.......Inky Impressions is sneak peaking their new images. Now, I have seen them and they are adorable, but I can't show you yet, but what I can show you is a couple of peeks. Wanna see??????

I know you have to think what you see is cute. I see a snowman. an ice skate and a sled. Seriously, what till you see the new release. Inky Impressions will be hosting the Inky Dinky Blog Hop and I will fill you in when it gets closer. One more thing before I go, Inky Impressions has some exciting news. They will be carrying there own line (manufactured for Inky Impression) of Dinky Drops, and some more great products coming your way. You know that they are going to be gorgeous.

Well, that is all for me today. We would love it if you would join us and play along.

Oh, one more thing. Inky Impressions Has a Yahoo group, and all members of the group are entitled to a 10% discount off their order. There are also some great contests on the group. Head on over and join us. Lots of fun. Well, that is all for me today. Happy Creating!

Happy HOOlidays

Happy Friday.........Aren't you glad it's Friday? I know I am. Guess what......It is snowing here in New Hampshire. That's right, snow in the middle of October. I can barely believe it myself. I can't remember a time that it snowed this early in New England (Hey Kristine B. Us too hehehe), and boy is it cold out. Both my kiddos went to school with there winter coats and all. I know last year at this time, my kids went Trick or Treating with no coats. At this point, I can't imagine that for this year. Also, I have had to turn on my heat already (yikes).

I guess that is enough of about the weather. Today's card was made with one of the new Pink Cat Studio's images, which is being released today. I am truly not sure how I feel about my card. I really liked the paper, but I am not sure that I went with the right colors for the image. I feel like the green tree and red bulbs are sticking out like a sore thumb. What do you think? Think I should have made the tree a different color? Anyways, how adorable is this image. I love the stitched owl, and they are so different from other winter/holiday images out there.

I have to say, I am completely Pink Cat Crazy with these new images. I just love every single one. They are all sooo cute . I am also loving Digi images. I love it that if there is a image I want, I can order it and get it immediately. Nothing like instant gratification. I also love that I can size the image to any size I want. A lot of the times, I like to make big cards, so I can increase my image size to the card I would like to make. Can't get better than that. Also, I have had no trouble with ink from the computer and my copics. Gotta love that.

Well, I am off to class this morning, and then lunch with my BF's Kerry and Pia. If you get a chance check out the PCS website and check out all the samples the DT made. They are amazing. Have a great weekend, and Happy Creating!!!!!!!!! stay warm.

Three Clover Thursday: Nature

Happy Thursday. You know what Thursdays mean.....Three Clover Thursday challenge over at KDC's blog. This weeks challenge is Nature. Well, when i started to think about the card I would make, I started thinking of flowers, trees, and animals. Well, I am not a very Flowery" kind of girl. So when I sat to make my card I went with my typical "cutesy" style. Hey, it's a turkey, that's nature right? I also was able to combine this challenge with MaryJo's Monday Lunchtime sketch challenge. Don't you just love when you can make 2 challenges work in one card...Wahoo..

Hey, guess what.......Tomorrow Pink Cat Studio is releasing even more new Digi images. wait till you see. They are just adorable. Sooooo cute. Well, I am off. I have to go prepare my card for tomorrow. Don't forget to check back to see what's PCS image I have used. ooohhhh, they are soooo cute......

Serious Blog Candy alert!!!!

Chris over at "Twinkles Glow With Stamps" is celebrating her Birthday with some serious Blog candy. Head on over and leave her some B-day wishes and a chance to win.
Here is just a preview of what is up for grabs.Happy Birthday Chris!

Baked With Love

Happy Monday!!!! Did you enjoy your weekend? Do anything special? Well, as I have said before, we are in the middle of Fall here and it is beautiful out. The trees are all sorts of shades of reds, oranges, yellows, and greens, but with the beauty, comes the cool weather. This morning was so cold that we had to turn on our heat. Yikes, I am not ready for that. The problem with the "season " of fall, is that winter is always right behind, and if this winter is anything like last winter, we will be living in a frozen tundra.

Anyways, I have another Pink Cat Studios card for you today. I have to say, there isn't an image I don't love. They are the perfect size for me to color and they are all so stinkin cute. Melissa the owner is absolutely amazing. She comes up with all these ideas and draws them into images. Today I used Itty Bitty Betty baked a Pie. How cute is she. She can be used for so many occasions. How about a get well, a Thank you....what else can you can think of? I did want some quirky saying, but I came up empty. Have any ideas? I also used this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch. I was not sure how it would work out, but I think it looks fine.
Well. that is all for me today. I have a HUGE test this evening in A&P lab. 100 questions on microscope slides, heart model, nerves, arteries, and EKG's. So, I better get a last study session in. I hope you have a fabulous day and happy creating!

Pink Cat Studio: It's Turkey Time!!!

Happy Thursday.....Gobble, gobble.....Hehehe....Guess what.....Pink Cat Studio released 7 new turkey digi images today, and I am going to leave you hanging here a minute while I tell you how stinkin cute they are. Holy smokes, these are some of the cutest Thanksgiving images I have ever seen (SERIOUSLY).  Wanna peek?

Well, What do you think?  Aren't they to die for cute, and did I mention how fun they are to color.  The best thing about Digi stamps is the ability to make them as big, or as small as you want.  I have a bunch more printed out and they are just waiting to be colored.  I can't wait to color more (hehehe).  Did you ever think you would say that as an adult?

Wanna see what the "oh so very creative" ladies on The digi design team made with these super cute images. OMG that are all so cute. Wait till you see:

BOO!

Happy Wednesday! Are you having a good week?  Well, it is raining here in NH, but very typical for a New England Fall, but the colors are gorgeous. I am hoping to find a few spare moments to capture a few pictures before the leaves change to much.

Guess what today is??? Inky Impressions Challenge day.  The challenge this week is Fall or Halloween colors.  Oh, my favorite.  I have so much Halloween paper, and yet I continue to buy it. Yikes.

For today's challenge, I used "Lili's secret" from Inky impressions, although she is not very "Halloweenish", I thought the saying and her expression worked here.  What do you think?  Think this works? I used my new pad of Erie Baci Grey paper, which I am loving.  I have become a complete Basic Grey junkie.  Seriously, I don't know why I buy anything else.  I always end up going back to the Basic Grey 6x6 pads.  I wish all companies made 6x6 designer paper.  oooh, I love it (the paper, that is).

While making this card, I decided it looked blah, so I decided to go with rub ons.  what do you think? Are they to much?  I got them at the Target $1.00 stop, and I can't resist anything for a buck.  Glad I used them though.  I have really been trying to use from my current stash, as it has gotten out of control.  My one thing that I have a problem with is DP. I have them seperated in seasons, for catagories, but as I buy new stuff, it gets more and more out of control, and now I have no idea what I bought.  How do you store your DP?  Any suggestions.

Well, that is it for me today. I am headed to class.  I hope you all have a wonderful day and Happy Creating!

I have some BIG news to share!!!!!!

Happy Friday, and boy is it a Happy day!!!!! I have something to tell you, I have something to tell you..... Can you tell I am doing the happy dance while I am typing this.  Well, are you ready????  Here is comes...I made the Pink Cat Studios Digi Design Team.  Can you believe it?  I was shocked, but so very excited.  I have been a big fan of Pink Cat Studios for some time now, and now I get to play with all their new digi images.  I'm so excited, I'm so excited (can you hear me singing that).
Have you seen Pink cat's new Digi store?  OMG everything is Soooo cute!  The card I have made today is not a digi image, but it is one of their NEW Halloween released stamp sets.  This is the second card I have made with the set and I believe I could make a bunch more.  The set is fabulous, and is one of my hubbies favorites.  He loves the hand that comes out of the ground. Hehehe.

Well, today has to be short but sweet, I have school and a ton of things to get done today, but I had to share my big news with you all.  Did I tell you how excited I am (hehhee).  Oh, and did I mention that not only is the Pink Cat Studio's new digi stamps amazing, but so is their design team.  Holy smokes, don't tell anyone, but I am a little bit nervous about my cards compared to the ladies who I will be designing next to.  They are all so amazing.  Here is a complete list of the new DT:

Three Clover Thursday challenge: Pink!

Happy Thursday.....The weather here is CHILLY.  The actually had to be turned on today. Yikes, that means  winter isn't that far behind.

Today over at Three clover Designs is challenge #33.  In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month (Oct). the challenge today is "think pink". No, the card doesn't have to be a suppot kind of card.  It just has to be pink.  Seeing I have this oh so very cute "Ribbon Lili" stamp from Inky Impressions, I thought I would go with the whole theme.  Sometimes (almost always), I make a card just to make it, ususally for a challenge.  Then the card sits in a box to never be seen agian.  Not this card.  This card is going to my cousin Tracy, who has fought and survived breast cancer.  She went through what most of us couldn't imagine, and she never complained.  She is a survivor !

Well, I am off to get the day started.  I hope you all have a wonderful day and Happy Creating!!!!!!
