So for the challenge this week I am sneeking it in a week early. So I hope you have fun getting and early Spook on. Carol x".

I am also a huge Halloween fan and will create Halloween whenever I get a chance. For this weeks challenge, I used Tinglyitchiness, and created this quick Halloween card.  I hope you enjoy and get a chance to join us for this weeks challenge.

Going Grey With Scrap-Ceations Challenge: Fall

Happy Tuesday!!!! My blog has been so lonely lately.  I have been crazy busy, with my son starting hockey, my daughter is beginning her gymnastics competition season, and not to mention the 3 classes I am currently taking.  There hasn't been a whole lot of time for crafting, but I did manage to get to cards together this week.  The card I created today is for this weeks Fall challenge.  I used a digi that I have had for some time now, and unfortunately, I don;t remember who designed it.  SO, this week I decided to go with a fall theme birthday card, as it is one of my dearest friends birthday.  Happy Birthday Pia!!!!!

Happy Bird-day!

Today is Wednesday and Wednesdays = Stampotique originals Designers Challenge day.

Kaz is our hostess this week and this is her challenge to you:

Napoleon once said that the English are a nation of shopkeepers. What he should have said is that we are a nation of animal lovers. Nearly everyone I know has got a cat or dog, a pet rabbit or bird, and I know that my Stampotique teamies have their pets too. So this week we're celebrating the fur and feathers and I challenge you to create something with either animals or birds. So put your best paw forward and bring it on.

Have fun!

I have been roaming pinterest, probably more than I should be, and I came across this adorable card by Darlene Devries and I have just been waiting for an opportunity to give it a try.  It is been a long time since I have made anything but a typical card, so this was fun and a nice change.  Hope you like it, and I hope you will join us at Stampotique for this weeks challenge.  Have a great day and thank you for stopping by.

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations challenge: Favorite Embellishment!

Happy Tuesday!!! I am a bit late posting today and I apologize for that. I just ran out of hours in the day!  This week, Peggy picked "favorite embellishment" for the challenge.  I am definitely someone who is embellishment challenged, and honestly, I only really use 2 embellishments on my cards, Flowers and gems. If I could just color and stick my picture on some DP, I would.  Really, I just like to color and play with paper...LOL... With this weeks challenge being open to so many ideas, I went with a digi image I have had for a long time, and unfortunately, I have someone to give this card to.  One of my coworkers (young), was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and she has been so strong through the process thus far, and I just want to let her know that I think she is amazing and I am here for her, so this card is for her.
My card this week was inspired by this card by  Theresa , and you can see her card here. I used a saturated Canary image, and went with quote I found on line.  Simple, yet powerful! Obviously, I went with my go to embellishments...again, so challenged!

Last weeks back to school projects were awesome, and the TOP 3 are:

                                                                       Scrappy jan

                                                                            Lola

                                                                     Card D ology

Break out those neglected stamps, and come play with me!

Happy Wednesday! I hope you enjoyed your Labor Day weekend. The last weekend of summah!!!! My family went to Wells Maine for our last dose of the beach!  We spent Saturday having lunch with my parents, and then we visited my Aunts and Uncle, and then we walked the beach (always my favorite).  On Sunday, we went out on my parents boat and had a nice ride, and we were fortunate enough to get to see some harbors seals, which I managed to snap some pics of:

It was a nice weekend, and now we are back to real life, school, hockey, gymnastics, all of it!

As you know, Wednesdays = Stampotique Originals Challenge, and this weeks challenge hostess is Kaz and this is what she has to say " We all love playing with new stamps, but sometimes it's good to revisit some that have been neglected for a while. I'd like you to find an old favourite and give it a new lease of life. Kaz xx"
I love this challenge, and I don't have a ton of Stampotigue stamps, so I decided to use the CAROUSEL stamp by France, and I used the Kitty squad to create this birthday card.

I hope you like the card I created this week and I hope you will hop on over and play with us this week at Stampotique!
