Boo!!!

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you had a great week.  Here it is, Wednesday already.  I so was thinking it was Tuesday.  This week is clearly going by to fast for me.   Guess what happens on Wednesday????  That's right, Stampotique Originals Designer Challenge, and this weeks hostess is Carol, and she is challenging us to an Early Halloween. Here is what Carol says about this challenge

"I really love Halloween so any excuse to sneak a make in, a month early is OK
 in my book."

As many of you know, I am also a HUGE Halloween fan, and could create Halloween projects everyday.   This week, I really wanted to use Nina as Frankie, I have been dying to ink up this stamp.  I wanted to keep this card pretty simple, since I am going to mail it to my 5yr old niece for Halloween.
Quick post today, but I would love for you to join us this week for our Halloween challenge, as well as a chance for $30.00 worth of FREE stamps.  Hope to see you over at the challenge blog.  Have a great day!

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations: Fall FLowers

Happy Tuesday!! I hope you had a good weekend.  It's starting to look a little like fall here in New Hampshire. The days are warm and the nights are cool.  The trees are changing colors and falling off the trees.  The lawn is officially toasted from the summer sun, and the kids are all back to school.  What does this all mean?  Fall is here, and that is the theme of our challenge this week.  We want to see your projects with Fall flowers.

Milestones

Happy Wednesday!!!  As you know, Wednesdays are the beginning of a new challenge over at Stampotique Originals, and this weeks hostess is  Kathi and here is what she had to say "21, 25, 50, 60th Birthday or Anniversary -- It's time to celebrate! Let's see a project that celebrates those sometimes scary milestones of life!"     I have been itching to use Kate Crane's new Foxy stamp, and I thought it was perfect for this weeks milestone challenge.  As you can see, I created a 1st birthday card, but this stamp would have also worked for almost any age.  I would love for you to join us for this weeks challenge.  Have a great day!

Birdy up!

Happy Hump Day!!! I can't believe it is already the middle of the week. As you may know, Wednesdays here on Scrap-creations equal Stampotique Originals Designers challenge. This weeks challenge is being hosted by Nellie and here is what she has to say about this weeks challenge, " I tend to use a lot of stamps when I create something. Thought I might challenge myself and all of you by limiting the number of stamps. So no more than two stamps please."
This was a super fun challenge for me.  I too, like to use a bunch of stamps on my projects, so it was fun to see what I could do when I had to limit it to two.  I love the Vine Scroll stamp by Arwen McCullen, and I knew I wanted to use it to create the background, which I did, I then needed a focal point stamp and wanted to use something I haven't played with in a while, which ended up being Birdy shoes by Kira Nichols.  I DID it, I only use two stamps.  I will admit, I really wanted to put a greeting on this card, but that would have broken the challenge rules, so greeting on the inside.  So, what do you say, wanna play? COme join us for this weeks challenge and a chance to win a $30.00 GC.  Hope to see you at SDC.

Holiday CHeer

Happy Friday!!! I hope you have had a wonderful week thus far. Honestly, I felt as though it was the longest week EVER!  My kids went back to school on Tuesday and I feel like the days have been longer and we are struggling trying to adjust to the new schedule.  On a better note, the kids are off today and so am I, so we are celebrating our last weekend of the summer in Maine.....My favorite!
Before we hit the road, I wanted to share my creation for this weeks Primary challenge at Stampotique Originals, which is being hosted by Sue Davies, and here is what Sue had to say "Take 2 of the 3 primary colours (and the colours that they create when mixed) and just use these on your creation. You can also use black and white if you like. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create."
As you can see, I missed the "colors they create when mixed" part of the challenge whooops!  I used another one of Kate Cranes new stamps, which is called Christmas Boots.  I then used a quote from one of my favorite Christmas movies: Elf, to great this mini journal page.  Well, that is all I have for today, Pop on over to the Designers challenge and check out their amazing creations.  Have a great weekend.

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Anything Goes

Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you enjoyed your weekend....My was fantastic...I spent 8 hours on Saturday with my Stamping peeps and managed to start 5 projects. Then on Sunday I stayed in my pjs ALL day.  I was struggling with allergies and could barely walk two feet without my nose running, but all in all, it was a great weekend.
Today, Peggy has challenged us with an ANYTHING GOES challenge.  I know how you all love this challenge.  Last week I saw an amazing tutorial on Splitcoast and I couldn't wait to try it, so here is my tissue box that I made to match a card I made 2 weeks ago.  This was super easy and the tutorial was so easy to follow along.  I used Ms. Hazel from Stampotique Originals for the image on my Tissue box.
I completely enjoyed your Back to School creations.  They were amazing!! The TOP 3 are:

                                                                             Jenn

                                                                          Vickie Y
