Find Your Fairytale!

Happy Tuesday!! I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. For one of the first times in a long time, we just kinda stayed home and relaxed with no plans.  The whether had its ups and downs, but we manged to have some fun, and I managed to get caught up on the laundry and plant some flowers. It was a nice relaxed weekend.

Today I wanted to share a mini journal page I created using a left over cardboard, gesso, tissue paper, and Dylusions sprays.  I used my Feline by Roc Nicholas stamp, which is ADORABLE, and created this journal page for Samantha Read's Challenge this week, which is NO BLACK on your project.  I will admit that this was really difficult for me, as you can see, I ended up using black for my font. I hope you like what I created and I hope you will join us for this weeks challenge.

We're All A Little Mad Here!

Happy Friday (TGIF)! Today is not an ordinary Friday. Today is a VERY special day for more than one reason.  The first and most important reason why today, Friday May 27th is a very special day is because of this girl.
Today, my baby girl is 15 years old.  I cannot believe that what I just wrote.  How does that happen???How does 15 years go by in the blink of an eye...It's crazy, but when I look at her, I still envision her as a little girl, but look at her, she is a no longer a little girl but a young lady, a funny, loving, caring, energetic, enthusiastic and bright young lady. I love her to pieces and couldn't be more proud of who she has become.  Happy Birthday Abbey <3 p="">
The second reason today is a fantastic day, is the fact that Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass is being released in theaters (near you..LOL) today, and in celebration of this, the Stampotique Design Team has created some fantastic Alice themed projects for you.   I went with an Alice themed journal page, and used stamps by Janet Klein.  I used Rabbit, Alice, and Catepillar.   Janet's stamps are fantastic!!!  I hope you will check out the DT's amazing creations and join us in celebration of Alice!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend to my US friends!

Circles galore

Happy Wednesday!  Wednesdays here at Scrap-Creations means Stampotique Designers Challenge.  This week I am lucky enough to the the challenge host, and I am challenging you to get creative and show us what you can create with circles in your project!  For this journal page, I used acrylic paints. and black and white marker. I used a computer generated sentiment, and I used Unicorn Magda Polakow, as well as Agatha Moon, also by Magda Polakow. I also used the wings from the Medium Bee to put on Agatha.

Scribbles......

Happy Thursday!! I am happy to say that I have been super busy crafting lately.  I finished my BSN two weeks ago and I have been crafting ever since...LOL...
Today I want to share a journal page I created for this weeks Stampotique Designers Challenge.  This weeks hostess is Arwen, ad here is way Arwen has to say: "I want to see scribbles in your projects this week, that can be by hand or by stamp, just add some scribbles".  Love, Love, Love this challenge...I always start a journal page the same way.  I first look at the challenge and then pick my stamps and then I just start messing around.  I never know how it's going to end up, which is exactly what happened with this page.  I knew I wanted to make my own background, so I used Cracks by France papillon, and just stamped the entire background so it looked as if it was designer paper.  I then hand drew circles, and then colored them in with copics.  I used Kate Crane's Ruff stamp for my focus point, and for my scribbles, I used my white gel pen and scribbled some words in the circles.
Wanna play????  Head on over to Stampotique and check out what the rest of the DT came up with for this weeks challenge....

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Wednesday!!! Today I have a card to share with you for this weeks Stampotique Originals Designers Challenge.  This weeks Hostess is Claudine, and here is what Claudine had to say " Let's make something with our Moms in mind, show Mom how much she means to you this week.".  I decided to go with a Mother's Day Card, and I created the flower wreath using Carol's Flower, small.  I really like how this looks.  This is such a great challenge, I hope you will join us this week at SO design blog.
