Happy Tuesday!!!! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. We had a full weekend, Gymnastics on Saturday, homework on Sunday and then the Super Bowl (which I will not speak of...LOL) on Sunday night. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time for getting creative, but I did finish my first Saturated Canary card. I have to tell you that they are one of my new favorite digi companies, and this lovely ladies is "making Valentines". Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you had a great weekend!!! Mine was a bit busy, with errands,homework and my daughter's gymnastics competition,but overall a pretty good weekend.
Not sure if you are aware, but the winter CHA is going on right now in CA, and I am so wishing I was there. I have had the pleasure of attending once and I had a amazing time, and I got to meet up with so many on-line friends. I guess I am just going to have to live through all the photos I am seeing on-line. Hopefully I can attend next year, when I am out of school. You up for it Kim Howard???? Roomie????? I can't wait to see all the new stuff coming out. I am mostly anticipating the new distress markers by Tim Holtz....Can't wait to see....(insert excitement)!!!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was pretty low key and didn't do to much, which isn't a bad thing. Well today is my first day of my last semester of nursing school. I can barely believe it. It has taken me 6 years total, 4 years part-time and 2 years full-time. It has been a LONG road, but I am excited to finish this journey, so BRING IT!!! LOL!

This week, we doing one of my favorite challenges, a sketch challenge. To me, if I have a sketch to follow, things seem to flow so much easier. We will be using one of Carly's sketches (Thank you Kristine B). I can't wait to see how you interput the sketch!

Happyy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I am happy to report that I had a great weekend. Saturday I went stamp shopping with Mary, Peggy, Pia and Michelle, and we had a wonderful time followed by a yummy lunch, and then on Sat night, we had dinner with my parents, and then on Sunday Abbey (my daughter) and I went to the UNH vs Penn State gymnastics meet with some great friends. Like I said, we had a great weekend!
So, I am in my last week off before my last semester of nursing school starts. I wouldlike to tell you that I have fun things planned, but I don't. We have already been giving homework and reading list, so I will be starting on that, and hopefully get some images colored, as I have come upon some new companys that I just love, and can't wait to use their digis :)
So, we have another super fun and easy challenge for you this week. This week we want to see your projects using DIECUTS! For this weeks project, I went with a coffin and vampires (because I love them), and I also thought it would be a cool valentines gift.heheh. The coffin is a cardboard coffin, that I painted with acrylic paint, rubbed on glitter and there you have it. I used a Tiddly Inks image, that I just love!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful week. Mine was rather laid back, and nothing to exciting going on. Enjoying my last two weeks off from school. It has been really nice, while the kids have been at school, I have been enjoying time with family and friends and Believe it or not, I have been stamping away..I have colored more in the last two weeks, than in the past 3 months....It is amazing what you can do when you are relaxed.
So, my card for this weeks challenge will be heading to my BF Paula (whom doesn't like crafts or cards). Her birthday is on the 19th, so I am way ahead of the game. I used this sweet Wee Stamps image and some of my new DP. I even used one of the paper dies that came with the paper pack. I never do that, so that is a good start using what I have, which is a New Years resolution. Keeping with this weeks challenge, I used glitter on the present and the flowers.....Did you catch that, this weeks challenge GLITTER!!!!!! Simple layout, but I like it :) Mostly, I loved coloring this image..hehehe!

Happy New Year!!!! Yes, we have been on break for the last two weeks, but we are BACK with a new challenge every Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a VERY happy New year. Did Santa bring you everything you wished for???? If you remember, I was curious about the Copic carrying case, and well, I got it. I wish I could tell you how much I LOVE it, but I didn't and I decided it was to much like a luggage and not what I was really looking for. The good news though, I returned it and pre ordered the 12 new colors. I can't wait to play....hehehe..... anyways, I had a wonderful Christmas. Spent much needed time with my family and we had a great weeek together, baking, bowling, the movies, board games, and so much more. It is so nice to be out of school resting and catching up with life!!! I have even been stamping and scrapbooking...wahoooo...Even better, I don't go back to school till the 23rd of Jan, and then only 16 weeks until I graduate as a RN. Can you see the light??? I can...FINALLY!!!!!
Ahhh pastels......yeap, I used pastels for this weeks challenge. Have I decided I like pastels??? NOPE, I am still not a fan, but I made my card for this weeks challenge with a special someone in mind, and that someone REALLY likes pastels, loves purples and blues, and LOVES snowmen, and that special someones Birthday is January 7th.....that special someone is Mary Castonquay....Happy Birthday Mary, I hope you love your card! Once again, I made it with little embellishments, so I can mail it. Are you ready to find out what the challenge is????? ok, ok.....this weeks challenge is Something Old and SOmething New. This was easy for me because I just bought the Memory Box snowglobe die and I used some old DP that I had, and there you have it, CHALLENGE CARD!

With a New Year, there are always changes, and sadly, we have lost 2 team members as of the first of the year. Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a great weekend! Mine went by way to fast! Sat we had our annual family Yankee swap, and Sunday, my daughter had her first gymnastics competition of the season. Both went wonderfully and were lots of fun!
As you all probably know, this is my last week of the semester I have my last "graded" exam on Thursday and I cannot wait for it to be over. The anxiety is killing me. I am not a good test taker, and this exam covers 3 subjects....ahhhhh.....like I said, I need it to be over, and then I can get my Christmas on...LOL
This week we have another great challenge for you, this week we want to see your SNOW cards....I decided to get one last Christmas card card, and combine it with "snow". I used another fabulous Whimsey Star Studios image, and some new paper I bought today (yeah, because I need more paper....) and came up with this oh so very simple Christmas card.

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. My guess is, for a lot of you it was a busy one...Holiday shopping and get togethers? So, as you can see, I don't have a card ready for today's challenge. I of course waited till the last minute and then found myself SICK! I have been plagued with sinus issues and a fever. Went to the Dr. today and he gave me a prescription, so I am hoping to start feeling better tomorrow, and have a card for you by Wednesday.

If you read my post last week, you are probably wondering how my last test went, well, I messed up the date of the exam and it isn't till next Thursday the 15th (Phew..since I haven't started studying yet)! So, with the last two weeks of school, it's going to get crazy and I have no time to be sick!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Did you attempt any shopping on "Black Friday"? I actually slept in and headed out at 9am. I didn't really go out with any great deals in mind, I just went shopping because my Dad asked me to go and help him out with his shopping. It ended up being a great day. We shopped most of the day and only stopped for a short time for some lunch. Most of the stores and malls were crowded, but manageable. The worst store we went in was Kohls....The lines formed at the front of the store and went all the way around the back. Yeap, I stood in line for my 2 items...hahha....it moved pretty quick. The best part of the day, was spending it with my Dad! Did you find any great deals???? Did you buy anything for yourself:)?

See this date...12/5/2011...This is my magic date! On this day I will take my last nursing exam of the semester...and let me tell you, I cannot wait. I don't get out of school until 12/17/11, but everything after the 5th is cake....I seriously can't wait! You see, I love school, I love the learning part, but I hate taking tests. I hate studying and all the anxiety that comes with it, so if you happen to look at your calender on the 5th, and think of me (after 2 pm), smile and know I am smiling with you :)

Happy Tuesday! I can't believe Thanksgiving is in 2 days. This month has flown by...Turkey day and then Christmas!! Wow, the year is coming to an end quickly, but before it does, I have to pass one more nursing exam, and do one more presentation and I will be a free women for a month. Nursing school has been stressful to say the least, but it also leaves me with very little extra time , and what every time I do have, goes to my family. Often times when people aske me to go out and I tell them That I can't because I have to much homework, I think they think I am crazy. They look at me like I am blowing smoke. Well, as the semester nears the end, I thought I would give you a glimpse at "just one" of my binders, and yes, I have read all of thi plus some. The amount of reading in Nursing school is crazy. So, the next timesomeone says to you that they are in nursing school, and they can't come out to play, because they have to much work, you can shake your head and say "yes you do", with a smile of course!

So, with Thanksgiving being in 2 days, the DT and I decided we wanted to tak this week and say THANK YOU to all our followers and players. WIthout you, we wouldn't have this fanastic challenge. Happy Tuesday! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I know I did...Got lots done and spent some time with the family. I love low key weekends! So, I have been doing a little Christmas shopping, and trying to decide on what I may ask for hehehe....So, the one thing that has caught my eye is the new copic marker case:
I have tried so many different storage arrangments with my markers and I am still not happy with what I have. So, my question to you all, does anone have this, and if so do you like it and what do you like or not like about it? Should this make my Christmas list???? What is on your Chistmas list???

Well, we have approx a week and and a couple of days till Thanksgiving, so it seems only right that we should have a Thanksgiving themed challenge this week. I am not sure about you, but I have found cute Pilgrim images are hard to come by. The good news, I found this super cute Whimsy Star studios image by Mabelle R.O. If you are not familar with her images, you should check them out,super cute and way fun to color! I believe the saying is a SU saying, and the DP is Basic Grey. I have decided not to go over board with embellishments because I would like to mail this card! Happy Tuesday! I am happy to announce that we finally have power and the kids have gone back to school. We ended up being without power for 5 days, and the kids missed 4 days of school...arghhh....that means winter hasn't even started and they have already lost 4 days. At this rate, they will be in school till July! So, with that being said, I am happy to say that this week is starting off much better, and will be even better after tomorrows nursing Cardiac exam. Lets just say that cardiac is not my favorite topic...blehhh....

New week, new challenge! This weeks challenge, is truly a challenge for me. This week we want to see your projects where the sentiment is the main focus. So, this was a really hard challenge for me. I really am a coloring and image kind of girl, and this took a bit of thought, and I have to say, this is not my favorite card, but I did it! That is what a challenge truly is, right??? I don't have many greeting stamps, so I computer generated the Merry Christmas!

Going Grey with Scrap-Creations: Pumpkins Please!

Happy Halloween (a day late)! Wow, what can I say, it has been a crazy few days around here in New England, to say the least. The pic you see to your left is a picture I took of my house on Sunday! That's right this past Sunday on October 30th. We got hot with a pretty good sized snow storm, particularly for October. You see, we don't usually get snow in October in October, never mind a whooping storm like this. The trees still have leaves on them, and with all the heavy snow, we lost lights, we had broken trees, and the kids are out of school STILL!!! Who knows when they'll go back. 1/2 of the school in our town still have no power. We have been without power since Sat, and have no idea when it will return. Like I said, it has been a bit crazy around here, and I with all the craziness, I haven't had a chance to stamp, but my DT did a great job with this weeks challenge, which is PUMPKINS....we want to see your pumpkin cards.

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Doing it Digi!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Did you do anything FUN??? I have to admit, since the semester has started, my time with my family and for my self has been really limited. I mean REALLY, limited, but this weekend was one of the best weekends I have had in a LONG time. Friday night I hosted a Arbonne party, and the demonstrator was a friend, so it really was a girls night, with a few drinks, great conversation and lots of laughs. Then on Saturday, I spent the day stamping with Mary, Peggy, Pia, Michelle, and Donna, and as always that was SUPER fun.....even with the 11/2 (personal joke), and then Saturday night, Hubby and I went to a Haunted House, and the kids got to spend some time with my parents and some extended family, that was a great evening for all. Then on Sunday, we hosted our annual neighborhood Halloween party, and then we took the kids to our Karate pumpkin tournament, where they got to go trick-or-treating. As you can see, we had a action packed weekend, but a wonderful one, and best of all, I gave myself the weekend off, and I didn't pick up one single book wahoooo.......
Ok, I am super excited about this weeks challenge, as it has become my favorite way to create, and no, it's not Halloween (even know if I coud, I would make every card Halloween LOL). This week, we want to see what you can do with your Digis.....Digi image and Digi paper! I know some of you still use rubber, but I have to admit, I am mostly a DIGI girl. I would say that 98% of my images are digi. It is extremely rare, that I will buy a rubber stamp. Why you ask? Well, with so many amazing artist out there sharing there artwork, I can't image being limited to to just rubber stamps. Also, there are so many reason to use Digi: storage, sizing, access ability, not to mention the amount and different styles available. So, not only did I use a Digi image, I also used digi paper. I bet you couldn't even tell it was digi paper! The Digi image I used on my card is from Whimsy and Stars Studio, and the AMAZING paper I used is from Bearly mine, and it was FREE!!!! Now if you take a close look to Mary, Peggy and my card, you will notice that we ALL used the same DIgi paper...hahahaha....and none of knew that each other was using that paper until we all sat together on Saturday and made our cards...LOL, BUT, I bet you didn't even notice, because our cards are all so different!

Happy Tuesday. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I hope you had some time do enjoy the fall festivities going on. My family and went apple and pumkin picking on Sunday and, I was just completely enjoying watching the kids play in the hay field, eat play with the pumpkins, and of course we had to end the day with some ice cream :) I absolutely love Fall, but I hate the thought of winter approaching, and approaching it is doing. The days are averaging 60, and nights dipping down to 40-50's, and not to mention that November is coming sooner that I would like it to. Arghhhh....I refuse to think about jackets, mittens, hats, boots, and SNOW.....before we know it, Christmas will be here. Ok, let me not get ahead of myself...... anyways, back to fall, and the 2 little cherubs I fall for! These little cherubs are mine and I just can't get enough of them......

Okay, so this week we have a little bit of a different type of challenge for you. This week we want to see your project with a TAG. It can be a tag on a card, a tag on a project, or just a tag. For this weeks project, I have posted a tag I made for my school bag. We have 30 people in my class and all of us have the same duffle bag, So I made this tag to go on my bag, and I also made 33 more of these tags for the incoming freshmen nursing students as part of a project the Senior class was doing for the incoming freshman...... This super sweet image is by Prairy Fairy, whom I just LOVE!!!!!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all enjoyed your Columbus Day weekend. The weather this past weekend here in NH was amazing, 80 degrees and gorgeous. While we layed low this weekend, we did attend a local Apple fest, and the kids played some games, we took a hayride, and had some lunch with friends. Always a nice way to kick off the fall season. Mostly, we just hung around the house and did some Halloween decorating and cleaning. Halloween is one of our favorite days of the year and my husband goes crazy decorating every year. This year he has decided to build something with pipes and fog......ah, if he would only be so ambitious about about getting things done around the house...LOL

So, of course this weeks challenge has got to be HALLOWEEN....hehehe...I love to make Halloween cards, but I wanted to try something a little different. I always use the "typical" Halloween colors, orange, black, green and purple, but once I saw the Digi paper by Bearly Mine, I knew it would go perfectly with this way to cute Paper Shelter image. So I went with it and I kind of like how it turned out. Whatcha think???

Happy Tuesday! Just think 3 more days till the weekend (wink). I am hoping you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was very nice. My Niece turned one on Friday and we celebrated her b-day on Sat. It seems like yesterday that she was was born, and now she is up and walking and already one...arghhh. It is so crazy how time flys as you get older. Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was pretty casual. Lots up catching up on errands and homework. While my weekend wasn't to exciting, I was lucky enough to get a visit from my friend Kim Howardlast week. all the way from Georgia. Happy Tuesday!!!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I am happy to say that mine was pretty low key. Sat I met Mary, Peggy, Pia and I went to our LSS and did a little shopping. I purchased a few of the MFT dies, which I completely love, and of course I had to buy some Halloween paper (my favorite). It was nice to spend some time with these ladies :) Sunday was pretty much a carpooling day for us. My daughter had a gymnastics clinic, so we worked around that, and then I was able to do some stamping. So all in all, it was a pretty good weekend.

Have you ever felt like you make the same kind of cards over and over again? Well, unless I am challenged, I tend to go with the "usual", so this week we are challenging you to make a card with a "unique fold". That means anything out of the ordinary for you! Well, when I was making my card I figured I would go with a easel card as that is something I can do easily, but after more thought, I decided I would go with a card that I have never made. So, my card today is a center step card (hard to tell by the pic), and I used this super cute image by Di's digi's, whom is this weeks fabulous sponsor. Happy Tuesday! Here we are August 30th and both the kids and I are heading back to school. My daughter Abbey is is starting 5th grade and my Son Ryan is starting the 3rd grade, and me, I am finally starting my last year of nursing school. Happy Tuesday!!!! Wow....here it is August 23, and summer is coming to an end :( My kids and I have one more week left of summer and then it is back to school...So sad..The saddest part of the summer coming to an end is NO MORE BEACH.....I just love the beach, and all that is entails. The warm summer sun, the sand between your toes, the cool ocean water, the sound of the waves rolling, days with friends, but most of all, the look on my kids face when they (think) they have caught the biggest wave ever. On the brighter side of it all, I am entering my last year of nursing school, and can finally see the light at the end of a very long tunnel! So, bring on the school year!

Happy Tuesday!!! and it truly is a happy Tuesday for me. I am on VACATION, and sitting by the lake near the White Mountains in New Hampshire posting my blog.....Ahhhhh life is good, isn't it! We are having a great time, tubing, boating, swimming arcades, and so much more. Today is our last day at the lake and then we head to Wells Maine to finish off our vacation. So sad when it's all over, and even sader that the kids and I start school in almost 2 more weeks....boohoooo.

As many of you know, My family and I just love Halloween. We go crazy decorating the house, we have friends and family over for halloween. My husband decorates the yard very elaborately. We are usually the house that people drive by and slow down to look at all the decoration. Sometimes it all seems crazy, but My husband loves it! I love to make halloween cards. I love the papers, punches......everything halloween! For my card today, I used a Prairy Fairy image and made a easal card.....Simple!

Happy Tuesday! I am going to apologize in advance. I had fully planned to have my card done for today. My image was colored, but I didn't have my card completely read, and then it all begun, my mom got sick and was admitted to the hospital. There went any idea of finishing my card, so I apologize. I have spent the last 3 days running back and fourth from my house in NH, to the hospital in MA. So like I said, I apologize for not having a completed card or my post done on time. I actually grabbed my computer on my way out the door this morning, and I am blogging from my mom's hospital room, this is going to have to be a short post.....Lucky you :)

WOW...Friday already..This week has absolutely flown by for me. Kinda scary to think it is already the middle of July. It has been a pretty good week though, so I shouldn't complain. Abbey has started at a new Gymnastics school after 7 years at her previous gym, so that was a bit hard, but she has settled in nicely and is loving every minute of it. Ryan has started Ice skating lessons, and after a VERY timid start, he ended up just loving it (phew). So with all the driving lately I officially feel like a TAXI CAB! We did take a break and join some great friends for a day at the beach, and we had a FABULOUS time. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives! Now here I sit on a Friday night writing My post and dreaming of Sat night......what happens tomorrow night you ask.....Pat Benatar concert, and yes, she is still alive...LOL! The reason I say that is, I was chatting with my younger brother (34) and he had mentioned that he was going to see Kid Rock, and I said "oh, really", I am going to see Pat Benatar, and he said "oh....silence.....she still alive?" Seriously, I am only 38, and he acts like I am elderly! Anyways, I can't wait to see a oldie but goodie!!!

Well, that is all for me today. I am off to color 30 digi images. Last fall I was chosen to be the Vice President of my nursing class, and as VP, I am responsible for various responsibilities, and one of my responsibilities is helping out with the incoming freshman nursing students. I volunteered to make 30 tote bag name tags for the freshman class.....YIKES....what was thinking :) Anyways, I have been doing coloring a little bit each night hoping to have them all colored and made in time for freshman orientation. Happy 4th of July (a day late)!!! It is so hard to believe that it is already July! Summer is in full force. I can't help but to think that I only have 2 months left of freedom, before I return to my last year of nursing school.... I need to enjoy every minute I have, and this past holiday weekend was a good start! Friday was my son Ryan's 8th birthday, and we spent the day in Wells Maine, and took him mini golfing and swimming, followed by a barbecue and a camp fire. We then spent the rest of the weekend with my parents, at their place up in Wells. We enjoyed the beach, did some crabbing, went out for ice cream, cooked out and had a FABULOUS time.....Topped it off with frireworks in our town. It truly was a great holiday weekend!

With summer in full speed ahead, we thought we would celebrate this weeks challenge with just that in mind...This weeks challenge is Summer...We want to see your summer projects! I decide to go with the July 4th theme, seeing I just purchased this new Bo Bunny paper, and I wanted to to use it. Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a great weekend. For the first time in a long time, I my family and I did much of nothing, thanks to the very wet weather we were having. Since we don't get a lot of quiet time in our house, I was happy to have it.

This week is my kids first week on summer vacation. My daughter is off to a Gymnastics day camp, and my son and I are hanging around this week, spending some time together. Some quality mommy and Ryan time:) He will be eight on Friday, but still has no problem snuggling with his mom....Love it!

HOw cute is this image?????? I just love it! Which leads me to my BIG news.....I have made the Whimsy and Star studios design team for the summer.....WAHOOOO..... They have the cutest digital images.....and, they just released these 10 brand new summer images........

Aren't they adorable???? For my card today, I used the Best Friend Digi. I combined it with some fabulous Yellow Bicycle DP and added a few flowers. I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I just wish I could embellish better. I never feel like my embellishments look right...I am embellishment challenged!

So, my question for you today is this: What do you do with all the cards you make? Do you send them out, DO you stockpile, what do you do with them? Well, I have moutains of cards, and I have been trying to send them out, but not everyone appreciates a homemade card, you know....Well, this cards is making it's way to my friend Pia. Argh.....You will never believe what happened.....I had my whole post just about finished, and some how, I must have hit a button and puff....GONE!!!! Yep, and right after that minute, blogger save it. Just my luck this week...argh...curse you blogger!

Anyways...Happy Tuesday and yes, I am so far behind this week, I actually had to get up early to post my blog. I truly have no idea where the time is going. I have been crazy busy with birthday parties, family events, Father's Day, and trying to finish teachers gifts, as this is the last week of school for the kids........This last week has just been crazy busy for me. Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a great weekend. I had a busy weekend, but a great one. Friday night, I went out with my "gym" moms for chit chat and drinks, Saturday we went to a birthday party, and then hubby and I had a date.....seriously, we I think it has been months since my husband and I went out. We just went out for dinner, but it was nice to spend some alone time. Then on Sunday, Mary, Peggy, Pia and I participated in our LSS's (Ink about it) yard sale and I sold $160.00 with the stuff....wahoooo. I still have lots of stamps that I would like to unload, but it was a good start.

Before I tell you about our challenge this week, I wanted to put a little teaser out there for you....Later this week, I will be posting with some BIG news and maybe some candy tooooo.......so, be sure to check back!

Happy Friday! Yeap, that is two weeks in a row that I have more than one post going up, I am loving this no school business :) So, when I was commenting on the entries for last weeks Going Grey with Scrap-Creations challenge, I came across a card (and I apologize, I don't remember whose card it was), with the cutest teddy Bears, and of course I had to check. Anyone who knows me, knows I love to color animals and kids. Well, when I got to the website, I just ohhh, and ahhh'd, they have some of the cutest stamps (Digi) I have EVER seen. Well, you know what happened then.....I went shopping!
Are you familiar with these stamps???? If not, you have to check them out Teddy Bo & Co. They hold a weekly challenge, and this weeks challenge is to make a Shaped card. Well, it just happens that my BF's son turned 2 this past week, and I needed a card (plus I wanted to play), So I am jumping in with this card, inspired by THIS card. I don't usually make cards for kids, as I know they are going to end up ripped or in the trash, but I so badly wanted to use this digi, so it is what it is right!!!!!

On Saturday, I went with Mary, Peggy, Pia, and Michelle to the Heirloom rubber stamp expo in Springfield Mass. We had a great time, and I had no problem spending all my $$$$$. Take time to smell the flowers

Happy Friday! I know, you are shocked, I am posting two cards this week. See what happens when school is out, I am able to get a little creative. It feels so good to color and create when you know you don't have a million other things to do. Needless to say, I am really enjoying my summer break:)

Not sure if my U.S friends have heard, but we have had some seriously crazy weather up here in New England. Earlier in the week, it was 90 degrees and humid, which is really warm this early in the summer, then on Wednesday, Mass had 3 serious tornado's, which is unheard of here. It was really scary, we were watching TV, and an emergency screen came on telling us their was a Tornado warning in the following areas (one of which was mine), and then followed with directions on what to do...go to the basement, stay away from windows, and so on. It was might nerve racking, and sacred the kids to death. We are just not used to this kind of weather. I don't know how all you Midwest people do it. How do you deal with this kind of weather on a regular basis? Seriously, how many of you have a actual storm shelter??? What is that like? Anyways, I am hoping and praying this is not a indicator of the summer to come. I am pretty happy with the "typical" New England weather, you know, cool, sometimes humid, a snowstorm or 2, or 3, or more :), you know, stuff I am familiar with.

So how about my card...you know, the second one this week LOL.....I finally got to use some of the Lilly of the valley stamps I have been ordering all along. I had this great new paper from Prima that I purchased and I wanted to play in this weeks Lili of the Valley challenge, which is punch it up, and my card qualifies since I used my nesties. I am so hoping to finally use stamps that I have been purchasing and not using. I am so good at shopping. Speaking of shopping, I am headed to the Heirloom rubber stamp convention tomorrow with my stamping BFs. I seriously can't wait, it is always such a good one. Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend! I know I did. We arrived back home from Disney on Wednesday. unpacked, got the kids back to school, and headed out Maine for Saturday and SUnday, and spent time with my parents, at their new summer home. Happy Tuesday!!! I am sitting writing this blog post from my Disney hotel room, family is all sleeping. We are all exhausted. We have hit Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood studios, Universal, Sea World, and we did hollywood studios twice, because my daughter 'needed' to ride the tower of Terror 4 times and Rockin Roller Coaster 3 times. The girl is a adrenalin junkie. we are having a fabulous trip, with one more park tomorrow: Islands of Adventure to see Harry potter. My son has been dying to go, So he is soooo excited. So, I am going to need to keep this post short, as I am COmPletely exhausted........ I also want to apologize for not commenting this week, but I promise, I will do so when I get home this week.

Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you had a Fabulous week. So, during my first offical week off from school, I did as I said, I cleaned all the closet, dressers, and even some of my craft room. I also did some shopping and some stamping. Not a ton, as I had bigger things on my mind.....what you ask???? M-I-C-K-E-Y...M-O-U-S-E....Thats right, my family and I are off to Disney World this week. We are Leaving bright and early Tuesday morning. This vacation has been a long time coming. We have been putting it off, due to my daughter's Gymnastics meet season, and then we had to wait for my semester to end. Well, both ended on a fantastic note, and we are off.....8 full days of Disney, sea world, and universal! Can't wait, I feel like a little kid in a candy store :)

This week we have another super fun challenge for you! May is the month for Graduuations, and what better time for a Graduation Theme challenge (plus, I have 2 graduations this month and a super cute Digi needing to be colored). Happy Tuesday....and yes, it is a VERY happy Tuesday! I hae offically finished my first year of nursing school. That's right people, I am FREE for the summer.....well, mostly, I signed up to take a class, but not a tough one :) So I am one HAPPYYYY lady!!!! What will I do with all my free time....ummmm....laundry, closets, garden, stamping, stamping, and stamping...Did I mention stamping :) As you can see I am completely excited to finally have some time on my hands....It has been quite the year.

Wowwww.....it's Tuesday again :) I swear the days just go by so stinkin fast, especially the weekends. This weekend was a fabulous weekend. Saturday Mary, Peggy, Michelle, Pia and I went to the CKC Manchester convention. I don't necessarily love this convention, as I don't scrapbook much anymore, but I do enjoy my time with the girls, and I just love to be surrounded by DP!!!! LOL..... Needless to say, I did manage to spend some $$$$..., and I had a great time with the girls!

On another happy note, I can see the light....the end of the semester light that is. As of Next Wednesday, I will have successfully completed my first year of nursing school. What a year I will tell you! It will be very bitter sweet. I will be thrilled to have a break, but I have made some great friends, and will miss them over the summer.....did I mention the end of the semester is near???? LOL!!!!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a happy Easter if you celebrated! I had a great weekend. Saturday I was able to catch up on errands and things at home, and Saturday night we spent a little time with my extended family. We started Sunday at a few early time of 3:30am, when my son woke up everyone to tell us that the Easter bunny came....argh....so cute, but it made for a very tired day! We spent the day with both my parents and my in laws. It was a nice low key Easter!

Happy Tuesday! I can't believe the week went by so quickly. I had a great weekend, and I was able to get a little crafty as well. Saturday I took a technique class at one of my LSS, taught by Jennifer Mcguire. I learned a bunch of techniques using distress inks...and had lots of fun! Well, I am down to my last 3 weeks of the semester, and then I am as free as a bird. I have to admit, I can't wait for the semester to be over. I am actually looking forward to the days of doing laundry and cleaning my closets. Something have just been put off to long :) The best part of the semester, has been my instructor. She has been the most fantastic instructor I have ever had, and I don't think I would have made it through the year without her, so I have created this card to give her on my last day. I don't think teachers get the recognition they deserve, and I am hoping she will like my card, which I made for this weeks challenge. Which I know you're going to LOVE!!!! What is it you ask?????

Happy Tuesday! Wow....what a weekend I had :) It all started Friday, at my clinical rotation, I got to preform a certian (pee pee) procedure on my patient for the first time. I won't go into details, as you all may not find the subject as thrilling as I (wink), but it was wonderful to be able to finally put one of my nursing skills to use. Then on Friday I had dinner with some friends, Sat was my b-day (21st of course), and my hubby and kids were so wonderful, and on Sunday, My daughter competed in her first ever Gymnastics States competition. Oh, she made us so proud! Like I said, what a great weekend. I hope yours was wonderful as well! We have another Fabulous challenge for you this week. Happy Tuesday and Happy Spring! I hope you all had a fabulous 1st day of spring with warm weather! You see, here in New Hampshire, we celebrated this forst day of spring with a snow storm...blahhhh...Not a bad one, but enough to make you go haaa...not again. We have had more snow this year, than any other year I can remember. I still have a good amount of snow in my yard. I long for the days for sun, warm weather, and flowers blooming. You know what they say, all good come to those who wait, and wait we shall do!

So, how cute is this image....Ahhh..I LOVE it! I saw this image a few weeks ago when Stampavie released it, and as soon as I saw it, I ordered it!!! This was a definate have to have stamp for me. Not only does this stamp make a great Easter, and spring card, but I think it would make a great "Hey Chickie" card as well. So, this won't be the last of this stamp you will see LOL! Going Grey with Scrap-Creationis doing a full design team call and we are looking for 5-6 creative people. We are looking for talented crafters and artists who love using Digital and rubber stamps, amoung other crafty items. We encourage anyone who has any interest to apply!!!!!

DT requirement:

-Responsible for four (4) cards per month, 1 card every Sunday to be uploaded to the Yahoo group.

- Is responsible for meeting deadlines and having projects posted in the yahoo group in a timely manner

-Spreads information via blogs, regarding Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge.

-Communicate any absences or inabilities to complete your projects to Owner prior to the post it affects. (i.e. illness, vacations, etc.)

Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I know I did. Saturday my son had a karate tournament, and then we headed to IKEA and did some shopping (did I mention how much I love that store), and then on Sunday, I spent the entire day in my pj's, lazing around. I don't get to many of those kinda days, so I savored every minute of the day:)
