Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Die Cuts

Happyy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I am happy to report that I had a great weekend. Saturday I went stamp shopping with Mary, Peggy, Pia and Michelle, and we had a wonderful time followed by a yummy lunch, and then on Sat night, we had dinner with my parents, and then on Sunday Abbey (my daughter) and I went to the UNH vs Penn State gymnastics meet with some great friends. Like I said, we had a great weekend!
So, I am in my last week off before my last semester of nursing school starts. I wouldlike to tell you that I have fun things planned, but I don't. We have already been giving homework and reading list, so I will be starting on that, and hopefully get some images colored, as I have come upon some new companys that I just love, and can't wait to use their digis :)
So, we have another super fun and easy challenge for you this week. This week we want to see your projects using DIECUTS! For this weeks project, I went with a coffin and vampires (because I love them), and I also thought it would be a cool valentines gift.heheh. The coffin is a cardboard coffin, that I painted with acrylic paint, rubbed on glitter and there you have it. I used a Tiddly Inks image, that I just love!

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations: Thank YOU!!!!

Happy Tuesday! I can't believe Thanksgiving is in 2 days. This month has flown by...Turkey day and then Christmas!! Wow, the year is coming to an end quickly, but before it does, I have to pass one more nursing exam, and do one more presentation and I will be a free women for a month. Nursing school has been stressful to say the least, but it also leaves me with very little extra time , and what every time I do have, goes to my family. Often times when people aske me to go out and I tell them That I can't because I have to much homework, I think they think I am crazy. They look at me like I am blowing smoke. Well, as the semester nears the end, I thought I would give you a glimpse at "just one" of my binders, and yes, I have read all of thi plus some. The amount of reading in Nursing school is crazy. So, the next timesomeone says to you that they are in nursing school, and they can't come out to play, because they have to much work, you can shake your head and say "yes you do", with a smile of course!

So, with Thanksgiving being in 2 days, the DT and I decided we wanted to tak this week and say THANK YOU to all our followers and players. WIthout you, we wouldn't have this fanastic challenge. We appreciate you all playing with us every week. SO Today, we are thankful for you! That brings me to this weeks challenge, this week is a thank you or thankful card!

Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge: Back To School

Happy Tuesday!!!! Wow....here it is August 23, and summer is coming to an end :( My kids and I have one more week left of summer and then it is back to school...So sad..The saddest part of the summer coming to an end is NO MORE BEACH.....I just love the beach, and all that is entails. The warm summer sun, the sand between your toes, the cool ocean water, the sound of the waves rolling, days with friends, but most of all, the look on my kids face when they (think) they have caught the biggest wave ever. On the brighter side of it all, I am entering my last year of nursing school, and can finally see the light at the end of a very long tunnel! So, bring on the school year!
I have chatted long enough and it is time for this weeks Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge. This weeks challenge is Back to School. We want to see your school themed projects. For my card this week, I made a simple card using a Tiddly Inks image, and used buttons...OMG, I can't remember the last time I used a button on my card....LOL

Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge: Bingo

Happy Tuesday!!! and it truly is a happy Tuesday for me. I am on VACATION, and sitting by the lake near the White Mountains in New Hampshire posting my blog.....Ahhhhh life is good, isn't it! We are having a great time, tubing, boating, swimming arcades, and so much more. Today is our last day at the lake and then we head to Wells Maine to finish off our vacation. So sad when it's all over, and even sader that the kids and I start school in almost 2 more weeks....boohoooo.

Anyways, we have a super fun challenge for you this week. It is something new for us, and we hope you like it as much as we did. This weeks challenge is BINGO

All you have to do is get one bingo anyway. If you look at my card, you will see that I used flowers, punches, and a Digi image (a fab Tiddly Inks image :) and that ='s BINGO! Simple right?

Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge: Graduation

Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you had a Fabulous week. So, during my first offical week off from school, I did as I said, I cleaned all the closet, dressers, and even some of my craft room. I also did some shopping and some stamping. Not a ton, as I had bigger things on my mind.....what you ask???? M-I-C-K-E-Y...M-O-U-S-E....Thats right, my family and I are off to Disney World this week. We are Leaving bright and early Tuesday morning. This vacation has been a long time coming. We have been putting it off, due to my daughter's Gymnastics meet season, and then we had to wait for my semester to end. Well, both ended on a fantastic note, and we are off.....8 full days of Disney, sea world, and universal! Can't wait, I feel like a little kid in a candy store :)

This week we have another super fun challenge for you! May is the month for Graduuations, and what better time for a Graduation Theme challenge (plus, I have 2 graduations this month and a super cute Digi needing to be colored). Since I have two graduations to attend this month, I was a good girl and used my DP scraps and put together these cards using this super cute Digi image from Tiddly Ink. In case you didn't know, I am a huge Tiddly fan...hehehe...
