Ho...Ho..HO

Happy Wednesday.....This week sure is going by fast.   If you frequent my blog, you know that Wednesdays are STampotique Designers Challenge Day
This weeks Host is Coby and here is what Coby has to say: "I do love tags but I use them too often. So please show me a tag or a tag on your project."
This is such a fun challenge, particularity since I never make tags. As may be aware. Christmas is only 2 months away, so I figured I would make a Christmas tag.  I used Kate Cranes Christmas Boots, whom happens to be one of my favorite stamps.   I then used some silver pain in the background to give it a little more "Christmas" feel. It is a great challenge and I hope you will join us over at the Blog.  Have a great day!

For a Child

Happy Sunday!  It is a beautiful fall day here in New Hampshire.  Today I have made a card for this weeks challenge over at Stampotique Originals designers challenge.  This weeks host is Janet Klein and her challenge to us this week is "Card For A Child" Here is what she says about this challenge:
"So often we create to amuse ourselves or other adults. Children love stamping and enjoy to see what is created especially for them. For this week’s Stampotique Designers Challenge I am challenging you to create a card that will have appeal for a child, be it a young one or teen."

I decided to make my card using Kate Cranes Frock.  This stamp is adorable, and I thought it would work perfect for this weeks challenge.  So, wanna play?  Hope on over to Stampotiques Designers challenge and see what the DT came up with for some inspiration.  Hope to see you there :)

Boo!!!

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you had a great week.  Here it is, Wednesday already.  I so was thinking it was Tuesday.  This week is clearly going by to fast for me.   Guess what happens on Wednesday????  That's right, Stampotique Originals Designer Challenge, and this weeks hostess is Carol, and she is challenging us to an Early Halloween. Here is what Carol says about this challenge

"I really love Halloween so any excuse to sneak a make in, a month early is OK
 in my book."

As many of you know, I am also a HUGE Halloween fan, and could create Halloween projects everyday.   This week, I really wanted to use Nina as Frankie, I have been dying to ink up this stamp.  I wanted to keep this card pretty simple, since I am going to mail it to my 5yr old niece for Halloween.
Quick post today, but I would love for you to join us this week for our Halloween challenge, as well as a chance for $30.00 worth of FREE stamps.  Hope to see you over at the challenge blog.  Have a great day!

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations: Fall FLowers

Happy Tuesday!! I hope you had a good weekend.  It's starting to look a little like fall here in New Hampshire. The days are warm and the nights are cool.  The trees are changing colors and falling off the trees.  The lawn is officially toasted from the summer sun, and the kids are all back to school.  What does this all mean?  Fall is here, and that is the theme of our challenge this week.  We want to see your projects with Fall flowers.

Milestones

Happy Wednesday!!!  As you know, Wednesdays are the beginning of a new challenge over at Stampotique Originals, and this weeks hostess is  Kathi and here is what she had to say "21, 25, 50, 60th Birthday or Anniversary -- It's time to celebrate! Let's see a project that celebrates those sometimes scary milestones of life!"     I have been itching to use Kate Crane's new Foxy stamp, and I thought it was perfect for this weeks milestone challenge.  As you can see, I created a 1st birthday card, but this stamp would have also worked for almost any age.  I would love for you to join us for this weeks challenge.  Have a great day!

Birdy up!

Happy Hump Day!!! I can't believe it is already the middle of the week. As you may know, Wednesdays here on Scrap-creations equal Stampotique Originals Designers challenge. This weeks challenge is being hosted by Nellie and here is what she has to say about this weeks challenge, " I tend to use a lot of stamps when I create something. Thought I might challenge myself and all of you by limiting the number of stamps. So no more than two stamps please."
This was a super fun challenge for me.  I too, like to use a bunch of stamps on my projects, so it was fun to see what I could do when I had to limit it to two.  I love the Vine Scroll stamp by Arwen McCullen, and I knew I wanted to use it to create the background, which I did, I then needed a focal point stamp and wanted to use something I haven't played with in a while, which ended up being Birdy shoes by Kira Nichols.  I DID it, I only use two stamps.  I will admit, I really wanted to put a greeting on this card, but that would have broken the challenge rules, so greeting on the inside.  So, what do you say, wanna play? COme join us for this weeks challenge and a chance to win a $30.00 GC.  Hope to see you at SDC.
