Scribbles......

Happy Thursday!! I am happy to say that I have been super busy crafting lately.  I finished my BSN two weeks ago and I have been crafting ever since...LOL...
Today I want to share a journal page I created for this weeks Stampotique Designers Challenge.  This weeks hostess is Arwen, ad here is way Arwen has to say: "I want to see scribbles in your projects this week, that can be by hand or by stamp, just add some scribbles".  Love, Love, Love this challenge...I always start a journal page the same way.  I first look at the challenge and then pick my stamps and then I just start messing around.  I never know how it's going to end up, which is exactly what happened with this page.  I knew I wanted to make my own background, so I used Cracks by France papillon, and just stamped the entire background so it looked as if it was designer paper.  I then hand drew circles, and then colored them in with copics.  I used Kate Crane's Ruff stamp for my focus point, and for my scribbles, I used my white gel pen and scribbled some words in the circles.
Wanna play????  Head on over to Stampotique and check out what the rest of the DT came up with for this weeks challenge....

Spring Has Sprung!

Happy Wednesday! I hope you are having a great week this far!  Today I am sharing a card I made for this weeks Stampotique Designers Challenge.   This weeks hostess is Arwen, and here is what she has to say about this weeks challenge, " Create a project with only nature items in it. No humans , no animals."   Since it's April, I thought I would go with a Spring theme (even know it's been snowing for the past 3 days), and picking my image, I knew I wanted to use one of Terri Richardson's images.  She has the perfect stamps for this weeks challenge.   I went with Dragonfly Dreams for this weeks nature theme.  I LOVE butterfly's, and long for the days that it is warm enough to spot them in my garden.  Ahhh spring....where are you???
So, what do you say, wanna play with us in this weeks Designers challenge?  Hope on over here an join us for some fun and an opportunity to win free product.

Love is in The Air!

Happy Wednesday! I hope you having a wonderful week this far. Do you know what Sunday is??? Valentines Day and I am a sucker for the seasonal items.  I love to walk in Target (my fav) and check out the season section.  I can't help but love all the red and pink right now!
This weeks Stampotique Originals Designer Challenge hostess is  Coby vanWilligenburg and her challenge is: "Love Is In The Air" here is what Coby says about this challenge:

"Love is so sweet and so tender...love is more than a boy than a boy and a girl.....love are my children, my grandchildren and animals... show in your creation this week, Love"
There you have it, it's all about Love this week.

Of course, I LOVE this challenge.  I made a simple card today, using Waving Spotted Monster by Kira Nichols.  I know you can't really see from the pic, but there is depth between the heart and the base.  This was a super fun challenge and I sure do hope you will join us in this weeks a challenge.  Not only is it fun, but there is also a chance for $30.00 in free product!.  Have a great week....

It Takes Two!

Happy Wednesday!  Here at Scrap-Creations Wednesdays = Stampotique Designers challenge and this weeks challenge is "double the fun."  This weeks Hostess is Valerie and here is what Valerie has to say about this weeks challenge:
"Nope, that's not a typo! This week we are celebrating the 2nd anniversary of the Stampotique monthly swap. This week, let's feature two's. You can interpret this any way you want. Duos, mirrors, the number two, duplicates - whatever comes to mind."

One of my favorite things about joining challenges, is coming up with the creative idea.  When preparing for this weeks challenge, I was sifting through my stamps deciding what I would use, when I spotted the "Skunk with Word on the side" stamp by Kira Nichols.  I knew I wanted to use a play on words for this challenge, note the "too" on my card, and I LOVE the stamp, so i went with it, and this is what I came up with for this weeks challenge.
Thank you Valerie for a super fun challenge, and I sure do hope you will join us for this weeks challenge over at Stampotique Originals for some super fun!  Have a great day and thank you for stopping by.

A Little Wizard of OZ for you!

Here is my project for this weeks Stampotique Originals Designers CHallenge.
This week our hostess is Sue Davies and she is giving us a fun challenge "Use only Hues of Reds and Pinks"

Here is what Sue says about this challenge:"With Valentine's Day around the corner we have all seen hues of reds and pinks, I challenge you to create a Stampotique Valentine's Day creation inspired by reds and pinks"
I love red and pinks, so this was a super fun challenge for me.   Pink and reds remind me of love, and I just adore this tin man stamp by Janet Klein and thought it would work wonderful in my project this week.   I also used the neverending wall by Arwen McCullen as my yellow brick road. My font was computer generated.  I hope you enjoyed my project and will join us over at the challenge group for a chance to win $30.00 worth of FREE product! Have a wonderful day!
