Bloggers Challenge 81: Designer Paper.....Be Mine!

Happy Friday....you know what Friday means....Bloggers challenge. This weeks bloggers challenge was one of my favorite..Designer paper, and I love paper.

So, have you ever bought a stamp, which you thought was so cute, and then get it home and start to work with it and think "why did I buy this"? Well, that's what happened with this frog. I started to color it and decided that I didn't think it was as cute as I had originally thought.

Well, I bought it and decided I must use it (at least once). Then, I had to choose paper to match, and God knows I have paper. Problem....my desk was such a mess (see photos below) that I couldn't find anything, never mind paper that would pop out. So, I went with my left over scraps from the last card I made, and I think it worked. Hey, at least I can say I am using my stuff wisely (hehehehe). Save a tree right! I think I spent 2 hours making this card, and not because it was difficult, but because I spent most of my time trying to find stuff. At one point I had lost the frog that I cut out to pop dot. It took me 10 minutes to find it. Needless to say, my weekend mission is to clean my craft space.

Materials:

Stamps:Imaginscense

  21. What a cute and adorable card!! You are right...I'm guessing that most of your readers can relate to falling in love with a stamp or paper in a store, only to bring it home and days (or weeks, or months) later, wonder why you ever thought it was great!! I know I have a lot of stamps like that!! Sad, but true!! Also got a chuckle over your stamp space! I just re-organized (it was a new year's resolution!!), but boy there were days that my space resembled yours!!

  24. Fun card, nice colours.

How is it that making a mess is compulsory for creating? The messier my desk the happier I am with whatever I'm creating!

  25. This is just an adorable card. I love the colors and the way you did the dots on the scalloped edge.

Thank you for sharing your stamping space. Mine looks horrible (worse than yours) and I love seeing that other people work similar to me. I also spend too much time looking for a part of a card I just put together and it is amongst my pile of chaos. How can one little piece get lost so fast?

Thanks for sharing and I love your blog. I will be back and have signed up for email alerts.
