Happy Friday !!!! I swear that the weeks are flying by for me. School has me crazy busy, and there are some days when I start at 6am and before I know it, it's 1am. Unfortunately, that has been my regular bedtime lately. Homework is a everyday event, and some times becomes a all day event. So trying to balance the kids, school, hubby, and my house, is not the easiest of things .....but what do you do? You just do it!
So, my card today is done for a Wags N Whiskers challenge this week. The challenge is HAPPY BIRTHDAY! This is a great challenge for me, because I am always in need of b-day cards, particularly today, as I am meeting my friend Pia for her b-day lunch. Happy Birthday Pia !
When I am making a card, I would have to say that picking papers (DP) is the hardest part for me. I look and I look until I find, what I think is the "perfect papers". Well, right now, looking for papers is not real easy, as I have let my craft space disappear under all my STUFF! Actually, just the other day, my hubby came downstairs and said "How in the world can you work like this", and of course I defended my self to him, but I was thinking to myself "not easily" hehehehe. So, to show you exactly what I am talking about, I took some photos.
Now, prepare yourself. This is not easy on the eyes!
Please don't judge me LOL, it doesn't always look like this. It just has been in the past couple of weeks, when time is scarce, and I need to "JUST" work, and the end result is this....YIKES. It looks even worse to me when I am looking at these picks. I better get this mess cleaned ASAP! I will admit, as I am sitting there thinking about cleaning, going through my head is "cleaning your space isn't going to get your cards made"......and...it's true!
Well, that is all for me today, We hope you can join us for this weeks challenge over at Wags N Whiskers. If you need a little inspiration, feel free to pop over to the DT's blogs. They are ALL amazing.
That is all for me today, I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Thank you so much for stopping by today. Happy Creating!
Your card is definitely cute and don't worry about your craft area. I think we all get messy sometimes!
ReplyDeleteYour studio shows you are very crafty and very busy. A clean room is a sign of someone that doesn't use their stuff!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I'm ROFLMBO looking at those pics and imagining you sitting there stamping away and looking for that perfect paper. Girl, you crack me but the end result are those gorgeous cards you make and this one is no exception-love the colors of it.
ReplyDeletePretty card! Happy Birthday, Pia!!
ReplyDeleteYou room cracks me up! Mine has gotten that bad at certain times.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the card, gift, yummy lunch and most of all for being a great FRIEND! You are always there when I need you and I truly appreciate that!
PS I tried to comment last night but it didn't go through
Wow this is a gorgeous card!! I love the pop of black with the fun, bright colors. And your coloring is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLooks like my desk, too. I have one clean spot in the middle so I actually have a flat space (about 12"x12")! And that's about it!!

Your scrap area looks like mine. I tend to branch out when it gets too bad till I get a wild hair and clean it. We moved from 3500 to 1100 square feet, enough said. Your work is beautiful. I joined you to follow your candy and have been so enjoying your posts. You're very talented!!
