Stampotique Design Team Call

Happy Monday.  I hope you had a great weekend....Happy to say, mine was a little slower than last weekend.  I have also been coloring away, which always makes me happy.  I have always been a HUGE fan of Stampotique stamps, and their amazing DT, and they are currently having a DT call, so I am going to put my hand into the mix.

 

The DT call asked us to show "our" style, and for me, that can be either "cutesy" or "Dark".  I love to work with different images and I love to add flowers and glitter, but I also love to make things dark and different, and I feel like Stampotique offers stamps for both styles.  I have created two different journal pages showing both, cute and Dark.  While I have n expectations, I have to give it a try, or I would have been kicking myself.  Well, I am on a coloring marathon, so I need to continue, before I lose my mojo....Have a great week!! Some "Wicked" exciting news to share & Blog Candy!

   I am super excited to announce that I have been asked to be on the Rick St. Dennis Design team....As we say here in New England, I am "Wicked" excited.  In case you haven't noticed in the past few months, I am a HUGE fan of his images.  There aren't to many people who can draw BOTH "cute" and "scary", and as much as I create "cute", I also love to play with "dark & Scary".  There is nothing better than working (yeah right, working...LOL) with images that you completely LOVE!!! My favorite thing about crafting is coloring, and I LOVE to color his images.
            So, I want to share my happiness with my followers as well.  Because I LOVE so many of Rick St. Dennis's images, I am going to give away two images, to one lucky winner. Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Fall

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you had a FAB weekend!  Unfortunately,  Summer has officially come to an end, which makes my completely bummed, as it is my favorite season.  This summer went by way to fast, and I only made it to the beach a hand full of times (which makes me really bummed), but now it is officially fall and I have to embrace the season full of glorious colors, crisp air, and the scent of apple crisp, and pumpkin pie.  I think I will manage another glorious fall, which brings us to this weeks Going Grey Challenge.  This week the DT and I want to see all your gorgeous Fall themed projects!  For this weeks challenge, I used Autumn Bear created by Rick St. Dennis, and this rubber stamp can be purchased at I Brake For Stamps ( with a discount if you use my DT code SAVE10KRISTEN). As sad as I am I to see summer go, I completely love fall, and I can't wait to see all your projects!

BOO!!!!

Happy Tuesday!!! I can't believe that it's only Tuesday, as I feel like it should be Thursday! This week is already proving to be a very busy one.  Today I have a candy holder to share with you. This is a very simple candy holder, and I have filled it with 2 mini Reese PB pumpkins, as that is what I have in the house, and they fit perfectly.  I used my brand new rubber stamp from I Brake For Stamps:Witch Costume Bear by Rick St. Dennis.

   This Candy holder would be perfect for Boo'ing your neighbor?  In case you are not familiar, it is when you leave a treat for your neighbor, ring the bell, and run.  You enclose a poem, along the lines of this:

 

Halloween is big event in our neighborhood, and the boo'ing is super fun for the kids.

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations: Polka dots

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  Mine was filled with Hockey games, and Gymnastics practices. and with little time I had left over, I managed a card for today POLKA dot challenge!  I decided to use the polka dots in my designer paper.  Don't you just love this image.  I wish I could remember the name of the stamp...UGH, anyways, I felt that this little guy was perfect for this challenge!

Hot, Hot HOT!

 

Happy Monday! I hope you are enjoying your Holiday Weekend! So sad that this weekend marks the end of summer!  For the first time on almost 3 years, we stayed home this Labor day weekend.  While it would have been great to be at the beach, it was just as great to be at home.  We pretty much spent the weekend hanging around and doing errands, and resting. It really has been nice, and thanks to my work schedule, I get tomorrow off as well...Wahooo!

So, I didn't just watch TV all weekend, I did a bit of crafting too!  I made this card using a one of my new images by Rick St. Dennis.  Her name is Denise Devlin, and she is listed under I Brake For Stamps under Halloween images.... I just love to color these images and create fun cards.  Well, I am off to clean the place where I create, so I can continue to create. It looks like a bomb went off in My room...Yikes!. Enjoys the rest of your weekend!
