Happy Wednesday! So happy that this week is going by so fast. I am still trying to catch up from vacation, and the kids are heading back to school next week, so I need to get their stuff ready. With all that has been going on, I have been putting time aside for one of the things I love, which is stamping and crafting. Today is Wednesday, which means Stampotique Designers challenge. This weeks hostess is Kim Howard, and her challenge is Anything goes, and here s what she has to say "Create using freedom this week with no specific theme". I wanted to use one the newly releases stamps, and I chose to go with Ellie the elephant and I created this birthday card. Isn't this stamp super cute...Come join us at STampotique Designers Challenge and see what the rest of the DT created and a chance for free product. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Repeat Yourself!
Happy Saturday!!! I hope you are having a great week. My family and I just returned from vacation. We took a trip down to Williamsburg Virginia and then over to Ocean City Maryland. We had a fantastic time, and while vacation is always fun, home is where my heart is. Today we are chilling and relaxing at home and trying to get back in the swing of things.
Before we left for vacation, I created this journal page for this weeks Stampotique Originals Designers challenge. This weeks challenge is being hosted by Sam Read and here is what she has to say: "I recently read that the human eye likes things that are repeated, so for this weeks challenge I'm inviting you to use some sort of repetition on your creations. A stamp stamped more than once or even your own doodling, it's up to you but most importantly have fun!"
Since the end of my semester, I have been back on pinterest exploring other peoples amazing artistic talents, and I continued to see amazing journal pages by Nika in Wonderland and I just had to try one of her You tube tutorials and this the end result of mine. I love that she used both acrylic paints and Dylusion sprays on the same page, as these are my two favorite mediums, and since this challenge was to repeat yourself, I thought the continues circles would work great. I used Curlz, which is one of Kate Crane's new stamps and part of Stampotiques new stamp release. This was a fun journal page to create and I hope you like it. Hope on over to the Designers challenge to see what the rest of the DT created for this weeks challenge.
Make sure to visit the Stampotique Designers challenge on Monday Aug. 24 as we will be having a blog hop featuring the new release images-and maybe a few additional chances at some goodies. Thanks for stopping by.

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Back to School
Whoops.....Running a little late here. I have had limited wireless and I am finally able to get on. It's hard to image that we are getting ready to go back to school. I know other parts of the country have already started school. Thankfully my kids still have two weeks until they start school. I love the summer and I hate to see it end, and I have enjoyed the time with the kids this summer....
So, today I have created a card for a dear friend who is starting her first year as a lead teacher, and I am super excited for her. I used Stampotique Originals Ms. Hazel to create this weeks card. What will you create this weeks Back to School Challenge?
The entries for last weeks Garden challenge were GORGEOUS!!!! The TOP 3 are:

Selfie/photobomb
Happy Monday! I can't believe the weekend went by so fast. Funny how the weekends fly by and Mondays feel so long...Soooo long....
So, the good news, my summer semester is COMPLETE and I now have a couple of weeks to craft till my hearts content, starting with this weeks selfie/photobombing challenge. This weeks hostess is Claudine Criner and here is what she has say "We all know those crazy animals or people who make funny faces behind or in front of us while we are taking a photo or those who like to take photos of themselves. Well this challenge is all about that. I want to see those funny photo bomb projects or your best."
This is such a fun challenge. I will admit I was stumped as to what I would create, but with a little thinking I went with a typical version of selfie/photobombing. I used an I phone template and created a picture like scene. I used Connie shows off her nails, Birdy Up, and Paris Lamp post for this challenge. I hope you will hope on over to Stampotique Originals Challenge and check out this amazing challenge and join us in the fun!
