Inky Impressions Grand Opening & Blog Hop

My first project for you is a card.I used basic grey dp, and colored away. What a great image. She definately reminds me of Nicole, the owner, of Inky Impressions.




My second project is a altered pocket calender. I just covered the outside with pattern paper and added my image and this is what I came up with. I think they would make great gifts for christmas, or teachers. Very easy to do.

Inky Impressions Grand Opening & Blog Hop!

Wahooooo.....Inky Impressions Grand Opening is Tuesday June 9th, and to kick things off the Inky Impressions DT will be having a BLOG HOP. Three Clover Thursday challenge

This weeks challenge is to make a card or project for Dad (or man), and use metal. Brads, hinges, or whatever.

My card today is made using a image from The Digi Shack. I combined that with some of my new Basic Grey paper, and added my metal (brads). I don't often make masculine cards, but when I do, I really enjoy doing them.



I am trying to use up my scraps and decorate the inside of my cards as well. I used a SU INK sentiment for the inside of the card. This card will be going to my dad. He owns a boat and loves the ocean, so this will be perfect.

Whachadoin Wednesday with SU INK

Happy Wednesday all....Wednesdays mean Whachadoin Wednesday challenge over at SU INK. This week was a sketch challenge and I LOVE sketch challenges.

Today I used SU INK'S Brand new sets "Fore", and "Thinking of Father". The "fore" stamp set is a great set for that golfer or father in your life. This set is so much fun to use and would also be perfect for a scrapbook page.


My second picture is a photo of the inside of my card. My good friend Kerry is always using her left over papers to decorate the inside of her cards. I think it's a great idea and have done that here. I used the SU INK'S "Thinking of Father" for the sentiment.
