Goth Lili (kinda)

Happy Wednesday!!!!! Phew, the weekend is almost here.  Are you having a good week?  Can you believe that tomorrow is Oct 1st. The summer flew by, and now we are heading straight for fall.  I know I have told you, but I LOVE fall, and everything it offers, the apple picking, the local farm events, the fairs, and of course Halloween.

So today is Wednesday and Wednesday=Inky Impressions Challenge.
This weeks challenge was to make a gift.  Of course Iwas last minute putting this together, but I wanted to give the challenge a try.

When I was trying to decided what I was going to make, I started to scan the room to see what impulse purchase I had made to alter.  I am real good at buying things to alter. While scanning, I had a came across this Salsa container that I had saved, knowing it would be perfect for a project.  Well, I am on a Halloween kick right now, so I decided to make "Secret Lili" go "goth".  I am not sure how effective that was, as she still looks so sweet.  I used my new Basic Grey paper and paper pieced her outfit and tried to color her hair black.  I obviously need more practice with the black hair.  I even gave her black nail polish.
now, if I was better prepared I would have filled this up with Hersey Kisses (halloween colors), but seeing I put this together last night, it is what it is.  I will fill it up today and retake a picture to get a better feel of the goodie container.

If you get a chance, check out what the Inky Impressions DT came up with this week.  You won't be dissappointed.  They are sooo good.

Trick or Treat with Pink Cat Studios

Happy Saturday!!! Ahh..this is my 1st weekend off from work in five weeks. It is lovely. The weather is Fabulous. A very typical fall day here in New England, around 60 degrees and sunny. Love it!!!!

Have seen this new Pink Cat Studios Halloween stamp set? OMG...it is so cute. There are a bunch of images in this set and they all are Fantastic.  I am a huge fan of Halloween (not the spiritual part, just the dress up and decorating part).  I love to make Halloween cards, and this year I am hoping to get them mailed out.  I made a bunch last year and they just sat in a box.  This year, they are going postal.

Well, I have cleaned my house, made a card, and did a load of laundry.  I guess I should try to do a little homework and then off to dinner with the family.  I hope you all are enjoying your weekend, I know I am.  Have a great day and happy creating!

Inky Impressions challenge

Happy Wednesday, and Happy Fall.  Can you believe that fall has arrived already?  Here in New Hampshire, we have been seeing signs of Fall for a few weeks.  It has started getting cooler, the leaves have started to change, and all the local farms are full of Mums, pumkins and fresh picked apples.  MMMmmm..this is my absolute favorite time of year.
My card today was made for Inky Impressions Wednesday challenge.  This weeks challenge is to make a card and use 4 different embellishments. Embellishments are easy right.  I also combined my Inky Challenge with this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.

Wanna see what the amazing DT over at Inky Impressions did with the challenge?  You can check them out :

Well,  that is all for me today.  I hope you have a FABULOUS Wednesday.  Just think the weekend is almost here.Yahoooo.....
Have a great day and Happy Creating!

I'm Diggin Ya!

Happy Tuesday!  Did you have a good weekend? Did you do anything special? My family and I had a very low key weekend.  I worked on Saturday and a full day Sunday, so we mostly just hung around the house.
I did make this card, which I have to admit I "truely" enjoyed coloring this image.  I have had this High Hopes stamp forever, but I have never inked it up.  This was such a simple card to make and I like how it turned out.  FINALLY.
Do you ever get into that creative funk. where you hate everything you make?  Well, that is where I have been for a couple of months now.  So I was pleased that I made a card which "I" thought was acceptable.  I will say my card was inspired by the amazing Nikki Estes

Well, that is all I have today.  I am off to get the kids on the bus, and then to work.  I will be back tomorrow with Inky Impressions challenge.  Have a great day and thank you for stopping by.

I love Halloween because it's during Fall and I LOVE Fall and all the decor and good things that go along with it. My favorite memories of Halloween are trick-or-treating when I was in Middle School with friends and taking pillow cases for our sacks and not coming home until they were almost too heavy to carry! Awesome blog candy, thanks for the chance to win =)

Please e-mail me your mailing address, so I can get your Halloween prize in the mail.  Congrats and thanks for playing!

Three clover Thursday with Sweet Lili

Happy Thursday!  Has it been a good week? Well, not sure if you have noticed, but I haven't posted anything since last sunday.  OMGoodness.
Life has been a bit crazy for me lately. The semester has started, which means HOMEWORK, and STUDYING.  I love school, but I hate studying.  It takes me forever to remember stuff, and I am currently taking Anatomy & PhysiologyII, so there is a whole lot of remembering.  Anyway, between school, work and my family, I have been straight out, and exhausted.
So it's Thursday, and Thursdays mean Three Clover Thursday Challenge.  This weeks challenge was do doodle (free hand) on your card.  Well, I love to doodle, so not to hard for me.
I also combined this challenge with this weeks Inky Impressions challenge.  Inky Impressions challenge was to stitch on your card (either faux or real).  I chose to faux stitch the inner circle on my card.  I used Inky Impressions newly released Lili awareness ribbon-(A portion of the proceedsof this stamp will be donated to the NATIONAL BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION & ALSO THE AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION).  I think I got carried away with the gems around the ribbon, but it is, what it is right.
So, wanna play in the challenges?  We would love to have you join us on either challenge.  They are all a great group of people and so creative.  If you don't have a chance to play, and just need inspiration, head on over to Inky Impressions or Three clover's challenge for some amazing inspiration.
Well, that is all today.  Have a great day and Happy Creating!
