Turnip, Bug, Rodent, maybe Alien

The answer...... I have no idea what this image is. I received this image in a image swap from SGGW. I can definitely say this was a true challenge. Honestly, when I first looked at the image, I thought "what am I going to do with this, and what is it", but soon after I sat and played around with "it", it all started to flow. I still have no idea what the image is, but I thought the saying "celebrate you" was perfect for the image. You know, the whole Alien (maybe) dancing in a tutu. It's Kinda like saying, no matter what people think, be yourself. Sometimes I feel like this in the stamping community. There are so many wonderful card makers out there and you look at all their cards and think "wow, I wish my cards look like theirs". Well, my cards don't look like "theirs", but my cards are mine. My style, my creativity and my ART. As a good friend of mine would say, Mine, mine, all mine! I hope you all have a wonderful Monday. Remember short week. Yeah......

BLOG CANDY REMINDER: today is the last day. I will pick and post the winner tomorrow night. GOOD LUCK! Thanks for all who participated.

Supplies:
stamps:http: stampotique, CTMH (sentiment)
Ink: versafine, and copics

You did a great job with "it"!!! That's so cute. I love your layout & colors. I don't know if I would have even attempted that one. LOL

p.s. Yes, I always say that about your cards (wish mine looked like that).

And I think "you" are just wonderful! I love your card even if I don't know what it is :-) I love the layout, the colors, and the coloring on the image. And don't you know that when I look at your cards I say "I wish my cards looked like that"!!! LOL Thanks for sharing.

What a fun card ! You are right we should not judge our work by others as it is our own style and someone out there is saying that they wish their work looked like ours .
Happy Thanksgiving !

Kristen, I don't think it matters what it is, your sentiment makes it work no matter how you perceive the image! And I do not agree that your cards are not as good as "theirs", because you are one of the scrappers I envy and long to be like. I think your art is very beautiful and inspirational. Don't change a thing!! Hope all is well in NH. Get any snow yet? We are kind of settled into about 40 degree weather, not too bad for Thanksgiving and Black Friday! Yeah, I won't be freezing to death while I am out looking for the bargains of a life time. This is only my second year trying Black Friday, last year I only went to Michael's so I could get myself the Cricut at an unbelievably low price. This year I think I am going to get the Cuttlebug. Hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving! Hugs Sister, Leslie
