Bloggers Challenge 81: Designer Paper.....Be Mine!

Happy Friday....you know what Friday means....Bloggers challenge. This weeks bloggers challenge was one of my favorite..Designer paper, and I love paper.

So, have you ever bought a stamp, which you thought was so cute, and then get it home and start to work with it and think "why did I buy this"? Well, that's what happened with this frog. I started to color it and decided that I didn't think it was as cute as I had originally thought.

Well, I bought it and decided I must use it (at least once). Then, I had to choose paper to match, and God knows I have paper. Problem....my desk was such a mess (see photos below) that I couldn't find anything, never mind paper that would pop out. So, I went with my left over scraps from the last card I made, and I think it worked. Hey, at least I can say I am using my stuff wisely (hehehehe). Save a tree right! I think I spent 2 hours making this card, and not because it was difficult, but because I spent most of my time trying to find stuff. At one point I had lost the frog that I cut out to pop dot. It took me 10 minutes to find it. Needless to say, my weekend mission is to clean my craft space.

Materials:

Stamps:Imaginscense

I love that you are bold enough to post a picture of your space. You will NEVER see that on my blog...not at least until I need my new space created. HA!

Fantastic card and it's so nice that you can use some older paper. Have a fantastic weekend.

Your "Froggy" is delightful. The DP is wonderful but what I really loved was the fact that someone else besides me has a desk that looks like a Tornado went through the room! LOL

You are too funny!!! I think the card is adorable and you did a great job on it.

I'm loving my copics so far, still need to perfect my coloring but am really liking them and have already added more to my "must have list"

What a cute and adorable card!! You are right...I'm guessing that most of your readers can relate to falling in love with a stamp or paper in a store, only to bring it home and days (or weeks, or months) later, wonder why you ever thought it was great!! I know I have a lot of stamps like that!! Sad, but true!! Also got a chuckle over your stamp space! I just re-organized (it was a new year's resolution!!), but boy there were days that my space resembled yours!!

Hope the clean up is going well. I try to keep my space organised but sometimes you can't help it.

Great card. I love the way you coloured the frog.

Fun card, nice colours.

How is it that making a mess is compulsory for creating? The messier my desk the happier I am with whatever I'm creating!

This is just an adorable card. I love the colors and the way you did the dots on the scalloped edge.

Thank you for sharing your stamping space. Mine looks horrible (worse than yours) and I love seeing that other people work similar to me. I also spend too much time looking for a part of a card I just put together and it is amongst my pile of chaos. How can one little piece get lost so fast?

Thanks for sharing and I love your blog. I will be back and have signed up for email alerts.
