Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Mother's Day

Happy Tuesday!!!! I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  It was an exciting weekend here in our house.  Both kids started Spring soccer and had games this weekend and while neither team won, it was fun to watch.  This week starts the beginning of the kids spring school vacation, but unfortunately the weather is not cooperating.  It has been rainy, cloudy with a high of 60 if we are lucky.  We are going to try to make the best of it.
This week Peggy has challenged us to a Mother's Day Challenge.  I recently attended a yard sale at one of my local craft store and came across a group of bird stamps, which I completely fell in love with, and what was even more appetizing was the price these stamps were large and brand new and I only paid 0.50 each. This robin stamp was one of the stamps I purchased and I couldn't wait to use it. My mom loves to feed the birds, so I thought this image was perfect for her.   My color lacks luster, but my Mom won't even notice.  We would love for you to join us in this weeks challenge.

Last weeks entries for the flower challenge were stunning.....So hard to choose.

LIFE!

Happy Wednesday!!  It's a beautiful sunny spring day here in NH today, and I am soaking up every bit of sun I can get, after the winter we have had.   Wednesdays = Stampotique designers challenge day and this weeks hostess is Magda and here is what she has to say about this weeks challenge.
"I like using shapes in my projects especially circles. They can give interesting effects on projects depends in what way they are used. I would love to see circles on your creations. How you will use them, depends on your imagination."

I love circles and love this challenge.  I have been dying to use my new altered alphabet set, which I used on my journal page, as well as the medium bee with tiny bee stamp.  I used my oh so favorite white pen to create the smaller circles.  This is one of the easiest pages I have made, and yet, I love it!  I hope you will join us over at Stampotique for a chance to win some free product!

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: SPring Flowers

Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you had a fantastic weekend.  I am happy to report that Spring is finally here in New Hampshire.  We have been snow free for almost two weeks, and the temps have reached 60-65 during the day.  With that in mind, Peggy has challenged us to make a SPRING themed project this week.  I went with a spring birthday card, as I am always in need of birthday cards, and what says spring better than tulips?????

Rainy Days

Happy Hump Day!!! We made it, it is half way to the weekend.  It's Wednesday and you know what that means....A new Stampotique challenge.  This weeks Hostess is Colby and here is what she has to say about this weeks challenge:
"I love stitches in my creations, some times stamped, sometimes made with the hand and sometimes with the sewing machine. I challenge you to use stitches in your creations".
It has been a long time since I have created a card, so I figured I would make one for this weeks challenge.  I have so much designer paper and it has been screaming at me for weeks to be used.  This is a new paper pack for me, so I couldn't wait to use it.  I used my Rainy Day stamp, and did some hand stitching to complete my challenge.  I hope you like what I created and I hope you will join us for this weeks challenge for a chance to win some free product.

"Anyone can do a square card.  I like unusual creations and would like to see other card types this week.  Enjoy the implementation and I'm curious about your artwork."

I used Carousel as my card base and added Kitty squad to the carousel.  I hope you will join us for this weeks challenge.
