Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge: It's a girl Thing!

Happy Tuesday!  Did you have a good week?  Personally, life hasn't been easy lately. My family has been dealing with some issues, and just when I thought we were past the worst of it, I came home on Friday and my 15 year old Shih Tzu was sick, and because she has been very ill for the past 2 years, we had to make a VERY hard descison and put her down.  It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.  We have had her since she was a puppy and she was one of the loves of our lives.  We are missing her very much!

On a better note, I have 3 weeks left till graduation. I can't believe I am going to be a nurse soon. Wow..what a ride it has been.  As school starts to slow down, I am hoping to have more time to do some stamping. I haven't colored a card in 3 weeks and I am starting to go through ink withdrawals LOL.

So, enough anout me, how about this weeks challenge....It's a Girls thing! We want to see your projects that involve girls!!!! For my card, I use a image from Saturated Canary, and combined it with some DP I had in my stash. This card is going to Abbey's Gymnastic coach as a thank you card.

Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge: Birthday!

Happy Tuesday!!!! I hope you had a great weekend, I know I did. Sat we went to breakfast with my parents, and then Sat night, hubby and I had a date night. Nothing to exciting, but it is always nice to have some alone time :) Sunday My daughter Abbey competed in the NH gymnastics state champions meet. Her team placed 7th, but they all did wonderful and they had an amazing year, she has made some great friendships.
So, today is Tuesday and I am not sure where you live, but has been pretty cold here. We got a little tease about a week ago with highs in the 70's, but now it is about 40...brrrr....I am ready for summer!!!
        As always, we have a great challenge for you this week: They say it's your Birthday!!!!  That's right, April is a popular birthday month for my family, so why not make a challenge out of it.....Today I went with my of my favorite digi companies: Saturated canary, and due to a little peer pressure from Mary C, i colored her a bit crazy for my liking, but I think she turned out fine.This card was created for my  my Aunt Kathy, who I would like to wish  a VERY Happy Birthday!!! I hope she has an amazing b-day on the 6th, and for all you April babies, have a wonderful B-day!

Happy Tuesday!!!! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. We had a full weekend, Gymnastics on Saturday, homework on Sunday and then the Super Bowl (which I will not speak of...LOL) on Sunday night.  Unfortunately, I didn't have much time for getting creative, but I did finish my first Saturated Canary card. I have to tell you that they are one of my new favorite digi companies, and this lovely ladies is "making Valentines". It was a MUST have for me.....Since Valentines Day is next Tuesday I think it's time for a prize!!!!!
