Bloggers Challenge # 77: Ornament or Home decor

MIA....that's what i have been lately. I just finished the semester and I have 1 final to go (chem...aarrgghhh). I am sooo happy it's over. It's so hard when you want to be creating, but instead you are committed to your responsibilities.
Anyway, I missed the last 2 weeks, but I really wanted to play, so I put this ornament together this morning. It was really quick, but I think it came out okay. I even broke out my embossing supplies. I can't remember the last time I embossed anything. So, Let me know what you think, and I hope you are all catching your breath in this busy season.

Supplies:
Stamps: one of the AC Moore $1.00 stamps
Inks: versamark
paper: CTMH
Misc: ribbon, stickles, embossing powder

Oh this is just too cute. What a great idea to incorporate a photo into your ornament. Very nicely done.

The weather forecast is for that ice storm to hit the St. Louis area Monday/Tuesday. ICK...THIS part of winter I don't enjoy so much! Stay warm and safe.

Good luck with that last final! I know what it's like to not be able to find the time to create...but it feels good when you can find a little time, doesn't it? :)

I saw all the reports on that storm. I'm glad to hear that the pine tree didn't damage the house.

Your project is adorable.

I can totally relate to how you're feeling--I just finished grad school this summer and I was so relieved to be done! I love how you included a photo on your ornament--looks great.

What a cute photo tree! Great job with this challenge! We get ice storms in Ohio all the time...what a mess! Good luck with the cleanup.
