So, as I have mentioned, it has been HOT & HUMID her in New hampshire for weeks, and we have seen barely a sprinkle, but I am happy to report that it is raining, and I am having a fantastic PJ kinda day. We really needed the rain (both my lawn, garden and myself). The summer is proving to be a very busy but fun one, but I am happy to have the rain. It somehow convinces me that it is OK to sleep in and lounge around in my pjs.
As my hubby said, "that card is not your typical, but it's nice". Don't you just love it when they say stuff like that. The thing is, he is right. My card today, is not my "typical" card. These are not my typical colors or image, but I like how it turned out. Pretty simple.
My card today is made to participate in a few challenges. The first challenge is a progressive challenge over at Designed to Delight digi stamps. Every week you play, you get the next weeks FREE digi stamp to work with, works for me, their images are super cute. Not only does Designed to delight have a challenge blog, but they also have a second challenge blog called Double Delights D2D, which is run by Kristine Breech and her sister. This weeks challenge there, was to use this image and EMBOSS. I will admit that when I saw emboss, I had a mini panic attack (ok, not really but..). I am such a DP addict, that I couldn't imagine not using it. So, if you look VERY closely, you will see that I used my cuttlebug folder and embossed the cardstock behind my flower bottles......It works...right????
I also made this card for The Rubber Cafe's inspiration challenge. The challenge was to pick a card designed by one of their DT members and create ypour take on it. I picked this card by Ann. I knew I wanted to use the Vino image, and her colors were perfect , so this is my take on her card. What do you think?
My Card qualifies for the following Challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenge-This challenge is "In The Garden". What a fun theme for a challenge!
The Shabby Tea Room #17 - embossing
KL Stampin and Scrappin': embossing
Well, that is all for me today. Thank you a TON for stopping by. Have a great day and Happy Creating!
