BIG NEWS!!!!!!

HOw cute is this image?????? I just love it! Which leads me to my BIG news.....I have made the Whimsy and Star studios design team for the summer.....WAHOOOO..... They have the cutest digital images.....and, they just released these 10 brand new summer images........

Aren't they adorable???? For my card today, I used the Best Friend Digi. I combined it with some fabulous Yellow Bicycle DP and added a few flowers. I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I just wish I could embellish better. I never feel like my embellishments look right...I am embellishment challenged!

So, my question for you today is this: What do you do with all the cards you make? Do you send them out, DO you stockpile, what do you do with them? Well, I have moutains of cards, and I have been trying to send them out, but not everyone appreciates a homemade card, you know....Well, this cards is making it's way to my friend Pia. She is always sending me cards (which make me smile), and when I was making this card, I had her in mind. So, Pia, if you read this, it is coming your way! Thanks for always being a great friend! Well, that is all for today. If you get a chance, Check out the Whimsy & Star Studio website! Have a great weekend, and thank you for stopping by.

This is too cute! I love that image. I definitely don't think you are embellishment challenged.

I have to say I am a stock piler of cards too and you are right not all people appreciate a hand made card which is why I'm kind of choosy of who I give mine to. I like to give them to people I know will appreciate them.

Have you thought about maybe selling your excess stash of cards? I can tell you that many people have told me that Hallmark cards are not really exciting any more and are more than willing to pay extra for a pretty handmade card.

Good Luck and Congrats on making those Design Teams!

Congrats! Mabelle's images are just darling - will look forward to seeing your amazing new creations! I stockpile some cards, some go to Operation Write Home, and to other 'causes', some go to publishing attempts, and some simply get mailed to friends and family! Congrats again!

congrats onthe DT gig. I think your flowers look great. We never see our work the same way others do.
I send and give away cards and whenever I hear of anyone who collects them to give to the troops or hospitals or the like I gather up a pile and give them over. Someday I may get an etsy store.
