Just a Note!

Happy Monday! Wow...where does the weekend go? I had a great weekend, one fo the highlites was a Class I took on Saturday, taught by Melissa Frances at my LSS. It was a Christmas ornament class, and we got to play with some really cool stuff. For the first time, I played with Glass Glitter , and Crepe paper, which I instantly became addicted to. Oh the things you can do with it. Man, I why can't I ever come up with this stuff.

My card today is made for this weeks challenge over at The Stamping Bazaar. I used their challenge for the week, and used Their Louisa the Lioness image and came up with my card today. Did you happen to notice the border around the circle????? It's Crepe paper....I love it. You can expect to be seening a whole lot more of it on my cards..hehehe.....

Well, quick post today. If you love the sketch and feel like playing, we would love to have you join us over at The Stamping Bazaar for this weeks challenge...THERE'S PRIZES!!!!!!

Merry 1st Christmas Rowan!

Happy Hump Day!!!! I know, don't be shocked, I posted two cards, two days in a row.....I miss the days when I could stamp, color and make a card whenever I wanted. School is killing my creativity...I do love that the challenges I play in help force me to sit down and get creative! So today, I am thankful for the DT's I am on and keeping me creative.

Today I have a card for you, using this weeks The Stamping Bazaar's sketch. I used TSB Little Angel on a cloud image, and made this card for my Niece's first Christmas. I am so excited that I used this DP from pebbles, which I have had in my stash forever, and I also used a bunch of my gems that I have had forever. SO, I am so happy to, once again be using my stuff. You know, You have to use it, so you can buy more to replace it...hahahaha....
Well, I need to keep this short and sweet, The Nursing books are calling! I hope you all have a great week, and happy Creating!

Monday Challenge with The Stamping Bazaar

Wow...Monday already??? The weekend always flies by. Did you all have a great Halloween? My kids had a great time, except the weather, it was CHILLY!!! All and all, it was a great day for trick or treating.

I wanted to thank you all for all your support, and kind words with the passing of Ethan. Friday night was his wake and Saturday morning was his funeral. It was a very emotional time for all. Amy & Sierra did wonderfully and the have to be 2 of the strongest women I know! The ceremonies were nice, but it was really hard to say good bye! He will always remain in my heart!

I actually managed to get a card made for today's challenge over at The Stamping Bazaar. This is their second week of their challenges, which will be held on Mondays. Each Monday they use a sketch, and all you have to do is make a card using the sketch provided. You must use one of The Stamping Bazaar's stamps to qualify for the prizes. You can link your card to TSB.

On my card today, I used The Stamping Bazaars New Elf image. Isn't he so stinkin cute. He was awesome to color. I also used my new SU designer paper, which I am completely loving! Well, I need to get to bed, I am off to my first day of Nursing Clinical tomorrow. Have a wonderful Monday, and stay tuned tomorrow for Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge!

One talented little girl!

Happy Sunday...I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. I have just a quick post today...Yesterday I spent appox 9 hours stamping with my girls Mary, Peggy, Michelle, Donna, and my wonderful friend and hostess Pia, whom always provides us with her home and a wonderful meal (THANK YOU PIA!) Well, yesterday we also got to spend the day with Pia's niece Christine, whom is only 4 years old. Some people may think, argh, kids there while you stamp.....but, you should see this kid. She is hysterical, and so talented for her age. She spent most of the day with us and sat quietly stamping and coloring away. She made us all cards, and then went home and continued making more cards. She never got bored.

This card that you see is a card made by Christine! I was working with images from The stamping Bazaar yesterday and gave her a image to use, and she turned around and made a fabulous card. She did the whole thing by herself. Way to go Christine! Check it out, stamps, coloring, cutting, ribbon, and brad. What a great job. Keep up the good work girl!

Hope you all have a fabulous day and thank you for taking the time to stop by!

Bite Me!!!!

TGIF!!! I hope you have had a great week. I can't say that I'm happy to see Friday arrive. It has been a very long week, but there have been some really good things this week as well....
- I got a 90 on one of my nursing exams.
- I got to go on a fabulous Field trip with my daughter and her class to Odiorne State Park.
- I finally finished the laundry for the week :)
- My son got is first 100 on his spelling test (he tries so hard)
- I am going to a all day stamp event at a friends house tomorrow :)
- Sunday I am staying home ALL day to study.

You see, it's the little things in life that make me happy! What made you happy this week?

How cute is this Marvin Biting the Apple image from The Stamping Bazaar? I know I have said this before about Marina's images, but I just LOVE to color them. They have great space! When i was making this card, I wanted it to be different from the other Marvin cards I made, but I can;t resist using the webbing I bought, and the goo dripper punch on every Halloween card I make. I did use some of my new halloween DP, so that makes me happy. I am trying really hard to use what I have on hand and not but every new DP that catches my eye (really hard for me). I think I am a DP addict! Oh wait, I KNOW I am a DP addict. I just love it! Hopefully I can use some more tomorrow, at my all day Stamp event :)

Well, I must go and print up some digis for tomorrow, and ggather my items. Hopefully, I can do as much stamping as I do talking. Have a great day , and thank you for stopping by.

Going Grey with Scrap-Creations: Make it 3D

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a fabulous long weekend (if you got one). My kids and hubby had Monday off, but I had school (boohoo). My kids and hubby had a great day together. They went to Chuck E Cheese, and then went and picke dout their Halloween costumes. I on the other hand had a test today :( BUT I think I did pretty good, so that's a bonus.
It has been almost a week since I have actually sat and made a card or project. Nursing school is a constant....constant reading, and studying, but yesterday I actually decided to put it all to the side and enjoy a little time to myself and get creative. You know how much I LOVE Halloween, and there are only a couple weeks left for me to squeeze in some of my favorite halloween images and DP (hehehe). This weeks Going Grey with scrap-creations challenge is Make it 3D. It can be anything, a project a card that you made pop.....anything you think is 3D. Pretty easy for me, as I love to cut and add pop dots LOL. For my project today, I decided to kick it old school (hehehe). I use one of the mini paint cans from the dollar stop at Target and decorated, added some ribbon, and filled it with my favorites M&M's...yummmm......I used this super cute Marvin Digi stamp from The Stamping Bazzar. He is one of my favorites to color. If you are unfamilar with Marina's work, you should check her out. She has some amazing images to color!

I checked out everyones cards last week, and what amazing talent you all have. We had a great turnout for our Think Pink challenge. The Stamping Bazaar-Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of The Stamping Bazaar Blog Hop. I have have the pleasure of showing you Marina Neira's new Marvin image. Let me introduce you to Marvin Eating Candy Apple.

I have to tell you, when I first saw this image, I was jumping up and down. It is the cutest image EVER! How stinkin cute is Marvin Eating the Candy apple. I freakin love him. I also had a great time making this card. I feel like the red in the midst of a black and white card, really makes the card pop. On the apple, I applied a glaze to give the apple a shiney, sticky appearence. I am not
sure if you are able to tell this from the pic, and because I love my Martha stewart Goo Punch, I add it whenever possible :)

So, what do you think???? Do you love Marvin as much as I do?

Sammy with Ball by Marina Neira

TGIF.....What a LONNGGG week this has been. I have been running around all over the place doing errands, the dentist, the doctors , and trying to finishing up school shopping. We are getting thing ready for the kids return to school, which is next Tuesday. It has been a REALLY good summer and I am sad to see it end, but I guess all good things must come to an end!

So, HOW CUTE IS THIS IMAGE???? Marina Neira is a amazing artist and has created images for both the Greeting Farm and Motivet, but she now has decided to open her own company: The Stamping Bazaar.

With all new adorable images for us to color and play with. I am extremely honored to be a part of her design team, and I look forward to creating with more of her images! Sammy is currently available for purchase in either rubber or digi, and he can be found here!

I did have to share this second card that m daughter Abbey made with Sammy with the ball. She colored it all on her own, and I even let her use my COPICS! you, know what though, she thought that she was a "real" artist because she got to play with the copics, and to me she is, not because of the copics, but because she is a amazingly creative child!

Well, that is about all for me today. I hope you have a fabulous day, and thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit. It means the world to me. Happy Creating!!!!!

Psss....I have some thing to tell you....something really BIG !!!

WOW.....I think I have vacationed myself out! In the past 3 weeks my family and I have been home a total of 4 days I believe. First Washington DC, then Ocean City Maryland, and the Lake Winnipesaukee NH. We had a FABULOUS vacation, but I am completely exhausted. It is now time to settle in back home and get back to the routine of things, but first, I have to catch up on my LAUNDRY!!! Ahhhh....the house is a mess and the laundry is piling up....You know how that is when you get back from vacation, everything is a mess, and the laundry is piled high!

I have had this image from the Greeting Farm colored forever and just got around to making it into a card, and I figured today was the perfect time to post it, seeing this is exactly how I feel today LOL!

Oh, did I mention that I had something I wanted to share with you....Something big I recall....well, big for me ....REALLY BIG for me.....I am THRILLED, ecstatic, jumping with joy to tell you that I have made the first ever design team for THE STAMPING BAZAAR, owned and runned by Marina Neira! I couldn't believe it when I got the e-mail saying I was chosen on the team....Seriously....I was freaking out. I am a HUGE fan of her work, and I can't wait to get started.....WAHOOOOO......seriously, I am so happy :)

So, now that i have had a chance to share my big news, I better get back to my laundry, so I can spend tomorrow STAMPING!!! I can't wait to get INKY! I hope you are having a fabulous weekend, and thank you so much for stopping by.......HAPPY CREATING!
