Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Anything Goes

Happy Tuesday!!!!  Are you having a good start to the week?  If you are anything like me, you haven't taken your eyes of the Olympics....Such a shame about Jordyn Wieber though....I was really looking forward to watching her compete all around.  So now it's GOOD LUCK Gabby Douglas, and Ally Raisman, and the rest of the US gymnastics team...GO USA!!!

This week we have a SUPER easy challenge for you....This week ANYTHING GOES! So with such a easy challenge, I thought I would post this chipboard album I made for my 37 yr old cousin with breast cancer.  She has been a champ through surgeries, chemo and now radiation, and I wanted to make this album, which I put pics I had taken through the cancer process and I have left her pages to journal in as well. I hope she likes it :)

So last week we had some fabulous "water" entry's for the challenge, but I have narrowed them down to the TOP3:
                                                                   Dragonlady
 Jennie
Julie

Happy Bird-Day

Happy Sunday....Just a quick post here, as I have turned into an Olympics Junkie and can't take my eyes off the TV...and Womens Gymnastics is about to start and it is my favorite :)
Yesterday I spent the day at a friends house and stamped all day, so I have a card to share with you today.  Happy Bird-Day...hehehe....I made this card for this weeks Stampotique originals Bird and buttons challenge.  I am not a huge fan of birds, but I think these birds are pretty funny....and it works well for this weeks challenge.
Well, Like I said, quick post. Hope you are having a great weekend.  Enjoy the Olympics!!!

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Water

Happy Tuesday!!!!  Hope you had a FAB weekend!!! My weekend started on Friday morning when I took a journaling class at my LSS with Kelly Kilmer, and one she convinced me that we just "stick" paper on with no rhyme or reason, I started to relax and enjoy the paper goodness.  It was very much reminded me of being a little kid and cutting and pasting random goodness....I will never look at a magazine, newspaper or paper good the same ever again...LOL...After my fabulous class, my family and I headed to Maine to spend the weekend with family...We boated, beached, and just enjoyed each others company. All in all, it was just a fabulous weekend!!!
I have been a creative mess lately...Journaling, scrapbooking and creating cards....Last night when I was trying to come up with something for this weeks "WATER" challenge, I came across this stamp that I bought a one of my LSS clearance sales, and I came across this Amuse stamp and used the bubbles for my background and colored them with Copics. This is a completely simple and easy card, yet it can be used for almost any occasion (love that)....
We had wonderful creations linked from last weeks Christmas in July, and I have narrowed the TOP 3 to:
                                                                       Deanne

Laura

Tammy

Art, Inspire and Create!!!

If you are looking to join this weeks Going Grey with Scrap-creations challenge, Please scroll Down :)

Happy Tuesday!!!! Hope you are enjoying your week.  I am happy to report that my crafting MOJO iis BACK!!! Amazing what free time will do for a girl.  I have decided to explore some new styles of stamping and creating. I am trying to play outside me "cutesy" box!  Today I have made a card for this weeks Stampotique originals "sentiments" challenge, as well as this weeks ttp://www.cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.ca/ sketch challenge, which is being sponsored by Stampotique.  As I am trying some new style stamps and techniques, I have found so many amazing altered artisit out there.....JEALOUS!!!! Anyway, I decided to try new things, but with "my style"....LOL....As you can see, I couldn't let the DP go, and I hate to admit it, but I have no idea how to use alcohol inks, and other materials. So, tomorrow I am headed to my LSS to take a class and will do so to with hopes of learning some new techniques

I made this card for Mary Catonquay's daughter Nicole, whom has just started in the world of crafting, and she is already sooo amazing. I am hoping she will start a blog to share her work...So, Happy Birthday Nicole....I hope it's a great one.

As I was making the card for Nicole, I decided it would also make a great Journal page....So, Here it is my journal page for my smash book.  As my kids would say "it's wierd", but you know what, I LOVE IT!!!!  Simple, yet different.....  I used my copics to color and then a pencil to add the dots of color in the back ground. Again, trying new things.  Well, that is all I have today. I hope you have a fabulous weekend.  Laters!!!

Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge: Christmas in July

Happy Tuesday!!!! Hope you had a great weekend.  Hoping you got to do something fun.  We headed to Maine on Saturday and we had a great family day boating, swimming and finishing the day with a fabulous cookout.  I am happy to say that I have been crafting, going back and fourth between journaling, scrapbooking and  making cards. I am really enjoying all my free time.....

Now that I have graduated school and passed the nursing boards, I have decided to get back into my groove and start crafting and blogging more.  The card I made for this weeks Christmas in July challenge is also for The Paper Shelter's recent DT call.  It has been a long time since I have applied for a DT.  If you never try, you will never know right??? I love Paper Shelter's images and they are super fun to color, so this would be a great step back in the "crafting" world....LOL
You all ROCKED last weeks "use something you recently purchased" challenge. So many fabulous cards....It was so tough to pick the TOP 3.....Well, after drooling over all the creations, I narrowed it down to the TOP 3....

Going Grey WithScrap-Creations challenge:Use Something bought in last 2 months

Happy Tuesday!!!!! I am finally back from my vacation, and let me tell you, we had a FABULOUS time. We cruised to the Caribbeans and it was just lovely. We visited New York ( time square & 9/11 memorial), Florida (Cocoa Beach), Bahamas (Great Stirrup Cay, & Atlantis). We danced, swam, ate, drank, snorkeled, shopped, gambled, and sooooo much more.  Like I said it was just amazing!
So this weeks challenge is to use something you bought in the last 2 months. So, I recently purchased some Stampotique original stamps from a lady getting rid of her stamp supplies, and in her stash she had these....Ahhhhh, on the outside I am cutesy, but on the inside I think I have a dark side to me.  Just like my style: cute.....but my inner self I believe is: goth....LOL
Well, when I was making this (part of a journal page), my son said "that is scary"......well, that is my point exactly. We are all different people with different styles, and just because we as people weer certain clothes and have piercings and hair styles that may be a little "different" doesn't mean the person on the inside is scary.  I remember when I got my nose pierced, and told my family, and the reaction I got was not the best, but once they saw it, they were fine with it.  Soooooo Never judge a book but it's cover!!!!!
Ok, so the winners of last weeks 4th of July challenge are:

Angelique
Rina
Mae
