Under The Sea

Happy Wednesday!  We are 1/2 through the week.   As you may know, Wednesdays = Stampotique Originals Challenge.  This week is my week as hostess and the ocean is my happy place. It is calm and soothing and I love the sound of the waves. So this week, I challenge you to create an ocean themed project. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
For my journal page, I used Roger the seahorse, and Georgio.

This is not the best picture, but wanted to show you the New Dina Wakely gold acrylic paint that I used to create my sand.
Well, that's all I have for today.  I hope you will join us for this weeks challenge and chance to win free stamps.  Have a great day!

Luv U!

Happy Wednesday!!!  Today I have Stampotique card to share for this weeks Designers challenge.  This weeks hostess is Janet and here is what she has to say: "Twinchies are small works of art that measure 2 x 2".  Create a set of twinchies using your favorite stampotique stamps".

I love all of my Stampotique stamps, but the monsters are some of my favorites, so I used them to create a card for this weeks challenge.  I used a Dylusion ink sprayed back ground and a little pattern paper for the base of my card.  I went a little crazy and added those 3 hearts and honestly, I wish I hadn't, because by the time I was done adding black marker, I wasn't thrilled with the outcome, but it is what it is.  I am going to give this card to a friend at work, who has become a true friend.  She will love it, and won't even noticed my mistakes :) So, if you would like to come and play with us over at Stampotique for this weeks challenge, we would love to see what you create.

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Summer

Happy Thursday!!! Sorry I am late this week.  I have been working towards my bachelors in Nursing and I decided to take 2 class this summer....UGH....what was I thinking.  I am taking Pathophysiology and Drugs and modern day society.  I love both classes, but the Drug class is a ton of work and it;s quickly killing me.  I barely have time to get daily things done, never mind craft lately.

Enough of me complaining, lets move on to this weeks challenge.  This week, Peggy has challenged us to make a project that is SUMMER themed.  I know my card looks a bit springy, but we have so many birds in my yard during the summer, I went with this project.  So, whatcha waiting for, go break out those supplies and create a project to play with us this week.

Last weeks 4th of July projects were fantastic!!!  The TOP 3 are:

Heather

E. Marie

Liselot

Sunflower wishes!

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week....Today is Wednesday and Wednesdays = Stampotique Designers Challenge.  This weeks hostess is Corrie and here is what Corrie has to say about this weeks challenge "I struggle to use ribbon in my projects but I do like it. So I want you to show me what you do with ribbon. Have fun ! Corrie x".
A long time ago, using a ribbon on my project wasn't a rare occurrence, but now it is.  I never use ribbon on my projects.  Since Corrie challenged us, I wanted to complete the challenge, and card is what I came up with.  I used the medium sunflower, large sunflower, and medium bee with small bee.  The sunflower stamps are definably some of my favorite SO stamps.  I love that I can use them in both my journal and cards.  So, hop on over to Stampotique and join us for this weeks challenge and a chance to win some free stamps.
