Bee Happy!
Happy Wednesday!!!! I hope you are enjoying your week. Yesterday, here in New Hampshire, we had a blizzard with 32 plus inches of snow. It has been a pretty light winter as far as snow goes, so I guess Mother Nature needed to make up for lost time. Here are a couple of pics I took from the storm. This first pic is of our driveway and at approx 11am, the second pic is what it looked like when we opened our basement door to go out, and the third pic is of my son playing in the snow. It take a lot to shut down the state, but this storm did just that. Travel ban, no school, and no work!! Family PJ day :)
While I didn't do much yesterday, except for a little homework, I did manage to finish up my journal page for this weeks Stampotique Originals Designer challenge. This weeks challenge hostess is "Corrie" and here is what Corrie has to say: "Happy Wednesday everybody. My first love in crafting is paint. So today I would like you all to use paint in your background. Doesn't matter what paint or how you apply it. Just have fun ! Corrie x"
So, keeping with my new years resolution of journaling, I decided to create a journal page for this weeks challenge. I used dylusionals inks for my back ground and some white acrylic paint to add on some diamond shapes. When I am journaling, I never k now how it's going to turn out. I feel as though this page is complete chaos. I used the following stamps in this weeks journal page.
Stamps used

Splash of color
Happy Wednesday, as you may know, Wednesdays on my blog equal Stampotiue Originals designers challenge Blog. This week Kaz is our hostess and here is what she has to say about this weeks challenge. "I'd like to see some bright colours to cheer us up in the dim days of January".
This was a super fun challenge for me. I love color and I have no problem adding more and more colors together. This year I am hoping to do a bit more art journaling, and here is my first page of the year. I have a long list of sayings that I love, and I can;t wait to use them in my journal.
My journal base was created with various colors of Dylusions, and acrylic paint. I then used one of my white pens and went crazy...LOL I used Hazelheart, Calendar Square cubes, and Circle Cube. I think I have enough colors for this challenge...LOL...I hope you enjoy my project and if your would like to see more "color" projects, hope on over to SO challenge blog and see what the other amazing artists came up with for this weeks challenge.

Don't Worry Be Happy!
Happy Wednesday!!!! I hope you are enjoying your week thus far. Just remember, only two more days until the weekend (wink). Not only are we half way through the week, but today is the start if a new challenge over at Stampotique Originals Designer Challenge blog. This weeks hostess is Claudine Criner and here is what she has to say about this weeks challenge.
"Most of us always create a New Year's Resolution and the beginning of the New Year. For 2015 try your hand at making something with your New Year's Resolution in mind"
This was a super fun challenge for me, as it got me thinking about 2015 and what my hopes were for the upcoming year, and while I did NOT make any new years resolutions (first time ever) I did come up with a couple things I would like to work on..........
- Stop and smell the roses: I tend take on way more than I should and then completely stress myself out. While I will continue my usual load, I have cut down a bit and decreased my class load from 3 classes a semester to two. I think this will be a huge help, and will allow me more time to do things I enjoy.
- Spread the love: The world tends to be a cruel place most days. People are stressed out, sick, fatigued and full of worries, so I have decided that each and every day I will ensure that I do at LEAST one nice thing for someone. This one nice thing may be as simple as helping an elderly lady with her groceries at the store, sending a friend in need a card, or just smile at people and say Hi as they walk by.
- A better me: Most importantly, I am going to work on a better me. I am going to work on not letting little issues or negative people have an affect on my life. My life is important and I will not allow what precious time I have in my life to be wasted on people or things that have a negative impact on my life.

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: New
Happy First Tuesday of 2015!!! It's good to be back. I have to admit, I didn't do much crafting over the holidays, as I ended up picking up more hours at work. While Christmas and New Years were great, and they were great, I am happy to have them in the past. I am a women who functions much more efficiently on a regular schedule.
Today is our first challenge of the New Year and what better way to start than with something "NEW" this can be pretty much anything, as long as it's NEW.....
The project I am sharing for this weeks challenge is Mason Jar candle holders that I made just before Christmas for gifts. I have been waiting to share this project with you all, as I loved how they turned out. I was completely inspired by Suzanne Dean, and her jars decided I needed to try them for myself. I made them in both white and blue paint, and like both. Super easy gift. The new part of my project, is that it is a "new"project that I tried, and I used new brads and new glitter....yes, I said glitter...LOL
