Under The Sea!
Happy Wednesdays, as you may know, Hump Day here at Scrap-Creations = Stampotique Originals Designers Challenge and this weeks challenge Hostess is Arwen, and here is what she has to say"
Who doesn't remember - Arielle the little mermaid :)I love the sea and the residents there.Mixed with fantasy and mysticism, a perfect theme for a Stampotique Challenge!Let me see how your underwater world looks like.xx Arwen".
This is been on of my favorite challenges. I love everything beach and sea life, and I have had this great stamp that I have been itching to use.
I have created a mini journal page, which I sprayed the background with Dylusions sprays, and I created the bottom, which I was hoping would like seaweed, but it was my first time working with molding paste, and this will require more practice. Also, I got to use Giorgio, who I completely LOVE...He is a great sea creature!
I hope you liked my project for this weeks challenge. We would love it, if you would join us over at Stampotiue this week. I will be looking for you. Have a great Hump Day!!!!

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations: Back to School
Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a great weekend. This weeks challenge is bittersweet for me. My babies started back at school today. My daughter is entering the 8th grade and my son, and youngest is going into 6th. The reason why this year is so hard for me, is because my baby is in Middle school..WHAT!!! How did that happen. I swear when I look at him, I still see him all snuggled up with his blanket...UGH...I am a wreck...The time is going by to fast and before you know it, I am going to blink and they will be heading to college and then getting married...Blah....I can't think about it!
So, we are celebrating back to school this week here at Going Grey. I had this super cute Precious moments image, and I have been waiting to use her and she fits the challenge just perfect. I have been really trying to work on coloring hair. This is not my best..UGH! So, I know some of your kids have already gone back to school, but I would love for you to join us this week with a school theme project!
Last weeks entries for the Animal challenge were AWESOME.....I loved every single one. I managed to choose 3, so with that being said, Last WEEKS TOP 3 are:

Since mt kids are going back to school, I used School Girl daisy and went with a back to school theme. Not sure if I have mentioned, by Mi Ran's images are stunning, and a joy to color. If you have not had a chance to view her images, you should, they are adorable. Well, I am off to work. I hope you have a great weekend. Happy Creating!

Bee You!
Happy Wednesday! As you know, Wednesdays here at Scrap-Creations = Stampotique Designers Challenge, and I am thrilled to be this weeks challenge hostess, and I have chosen flowers for this weeks challenge. Here is my blurb :
We may be nearing towards the end of summer, and for most,
the flowers are fully bloomed, but for me, some of the best flowers are yet to
come. I love the gigantic sunflowers and the autumn mums, and for that
reason, I challenge you to use flowers in your creations this week. Have fun !
This summer I planted a ton of flowers, but to my surprise, a very random sunflower started to sprout right under my bird feeder, which I assume was a sunflower from the bird seed that landed on the dirt and seeded it self. The end product is this beauty:
I often roam Pinterest and was extremely inspired by this project by Katy Leitch, which led to my project today.
* Medium Bee with tiny bee
* Big Bee
* Sunflower Large
* Sunflower Medium
* Honeycomb background
I hope you have a great day, and I hope you will join us at Stampotique!

They Say it's Your Birthday!
Happy Wednesday! Here at Scrap-Creations, Wednesdays equal Stampotique Challenge day! This weeks challenge hostess is Kathi and here is what she has to say about this weeks challenge:
" I love music and enjoy most genres ranging from liturgical music to rap, from classical to head-bangin' rock! Music fills my soul and moves me emotionally and physically.
Let's see how music inspires you! Use song lyrics, music notation, or words associated with music in your project and share it with us!".
I decided to go with an oldie but goodies, and use the Beatles "They say it's my Birthday". I am always in need of Birthday cards, and I used Zara Gift by Maria Sabina Raita. We would love for you to join us at this weeks challenge at Stampotique Originals! Have a great week and happy stamping!

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Animals
Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you all had a great weekend. My family and I had a great weekend. Sat we visited family and Sunday we took a trip to Boston and road the Boston Duck Tours, which was super fun. For all the years we have lived in New England, we have never done the duck tours. I am so glad we did. For those that are not familiar, you board a Truck that also is a boat, and your tour around Boston and get a brief Boston history. It really was great and even sparked our interest to go visit other sites in Boston that we have never seen. After the boat tour, we went and visited the Christian Science center and tour the area. Ever since I did a paper on Christian Science religion in Nursing school, I have wanted to visit the center. I find it very interesting, and the area is gorgeous! From there, we visited and ate dinner at Bostons north end, which is famous for its Italian food. It was sooo yummy, and a great end to a perfect day.
I also had a chance to do some coloring this weekend, and I made this card for this weeks animal challenge. I used this Lily of the Valley stamp, and created this simple card. I have been really trying to improve on my coloring skills, and try some new techniques, while my bunny isn't perfect, I am trying, and practice makes perfect.
Last weeks Birthday challenge was a great success and the projects were gorgeous and as always, inspiring! With that being said, last weeks TOP 3 are:
JanR
Laine
Lidya

Wishing You Great Success!
Happy Friday! I hope you are having a great week. Today I am sharing with you my very first challenge card for Artbymiran. This weeks challenge is anything goes, and the only rule is that the card has to be hand colored, and it has to be a new project.
Since my kids are heading back to school on the 26th of this month, I went with a back to school theme. I used Smart Samantha, and used some new DP that I forgot I had. If you haven't had a chance to get out Mi Ran's images, you can do so here....You won't be sorry you peeked. They are SOOO cute! I hope you have a great weekend. Happy Crafting :)
