Going Grey With Scrap-Creations: Flower Power

Happy Tuesday!!! Did you have a great weekend?  This was New Hampshire Gymnastics State Champ weekend and we spent the whole weekend watching gymnastics, it was a very long weekend, but it was great to see.  These past two weeks have been crazy busy in my life, and I hate to admit it, but I have had very little time for crafting, so I do not have a card to share with you for this weeks challenge, but I have a great challenge to share with you.  This week, we want to see your Flower Power.  We want to see your creations using flowers, and flower embellishments, DO NOT count as flowers.....Break out those flower stamps or papers......You see, I live in New England, and we just had our first 60 degree day today, so I am in the need of some spring, so let me see some FLOWERS.....lol

I Brake For Nurses!

 

Happy Sunday, are you having a good weekend? I feel as though the weekends go by so fast.  We almost always have plans on the weekends, and this weekend was no different. We attended to Gymnastics State champ meets this weekend, and I had to take a Sociology test, and did I mention that I am not a big fan of this class? Completely boring if you ask me, anyways, needless to say the weekend it just about over and I could use one more day.

I have a card to share with you today, and I am thinking this is going to be me in another 20 or so years....As you may know, I am a nurse and I just love nursing images, especially the crazy one.  I just got this Stella Nurse stamp from I Brake For Stamps and I think she is hysterical. I made this card for my cousin who will be graduating nursing school shortly, and the funny thing is, she is only 21 years, old, but by the time you graduate nursing school, you end up looking like Stella....LOL.

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Easter

Happy Tuesday.....I can't believe we are in the end of march already...Wow, did this month fly by, or what.  It has been a whole week since I last posted a card, and unfortunately, it's because I have been SUPER busy, busy with kids activities, and snow days, and work.  Sometimes I just feel like there isn't enough time in the day for me to get everything done, and I know that all you mums out there know exactly what I am talking about.
   So enough about me, let me tell you about this weeks challenge. In this weeks challenge, we want to see your EASTER creations. I know, I know, my card isn't very easter-ish, but it's what I have for this week.  I used the sunflower bucket stamp from I Brake For Stamps, and combined it with some DP that I had on hand.  Not very Easter, but spring for sure :)

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations: Favorite embellishment!

Happy Tuesday!!! Did you fellow east coasters make it through time savings?  Since my kids were babies, they have never been able to function with Day light savings. Their sleep is all off, and I must admit, mine is as well. I was completely exhausted all day today and as soon as I finish this post, I am off to bed :)
   This week we have a fun and easy challenge for you. This week we want to see your creations using your favorite 

 embellishment! I used a lot of my favorites on this cards. I used my favorite colors, a favorite image ( I love to color people), favorite paper (Little Yellow Bicycle), and I cut out her hat and made it 3D, which I love to do on my creations......So, what is your favorite embellishment?????

Some Bunny Loves You!

Happy Sunday! I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I am happy to say that I had a great weekend. Friday night my family and I just hung around, Saturday night we had dinner with friends, and today we went to my sons hockey game (and yes he scored..Yay), and then we took the kids to see Oz The Great and Powerful.  I wish I could say I liked it more than I did, but I just thought it was ok. My kids definitely liked it more than I did. I thought it was good, but not great. You you go see it, lmk what you thought of it.
   Tonight I have a little Easter card to share with you.
