Happy Tuesday....I hope you had a fantastic holiday weekend. Today is my first day of nursing school, and I am a bit like a little kid with the butterflies in my stomach (yikes). I know once I get there, I will be fine, it's just the thought of the adventure that is about to beginning. You know, the the unknown can be very scarey, but I am so excited to get started.

We have so much to share with you today. First let me start by sharing my card with you today. This very sweet image is by The Wild Flower Patch, which happens to be our fabulous sponsor this week. I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch, and I used this Imaginece DP that I have had in my stash forver. I am trying to be good and use what I have, before I buy more. Like I said "trying" LOL! My friends Mary and Peggy had a great idea about cutting my 12x12 paper into 6x6 and some how, I think that if I precut my papers, I would be more likely to go for them. Has anyone done this before? Hmmm....I need to try this I think.

BIG DT NEWS!!!!! I first want to thank everyone that applied, you all are so amazing, and it was tough to narrow it down. I wish you all the luck in the future. Good Luck with School Megan.......

Wow....It's Monday already, and the three day weekend is coming to an end (sad face ). I did have a great weekend though. Saturday the hubby, the kids and I had hung around and did errands, and then we went to dinner. Sunday, We went to The Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in Plum Island, and had a FANTASTIC time. Hurricane Earl just passed us by and with it's passing it brought the shore some treasures (for us anyway). Usually, at the beaches up her in the NorthEast, we have your average clam, and snail shells, and sometimes if you're lucky, you will find a small sand dollar, but yesterday, we hit the mother load (as my kids would say). We found HUGE snail, Giagantic clam shells, and TONS of sand dollars, along with a few washed up lobster traps. The water was calm, and the weather was gorgeous, and because the weather man have scared the pants off people up here about the water being rough and all, the beach was EMPTY!!! Lucky us! Today, my hubby to the kids to go visit his parents, and I stayed behind to get caught up on things. You know, laundry, and cards (hehehe), and tomorrow is my 1st day of Nursing School (GULP), so I need to get my stuff together!

My card today is for a friend of mine that I met in college, and she is a amazing person. She is a single mom of two girls, works full time, and is just starting nursing school full time. Like I said, she is amazing, and such a sweet heart of a person. The sad part is, we have had a bunch of classes together, but this year, we are going to different schools, both in pursuit of our nursing degree. I am going miss her. I can still hear her saying "Dude, relax, you're crazy, ad your starting to freak me out"!...So Meg, if you're reading this, I am going to miss having classes with you, but we'll always have Applebee's! Good Luck with school girl!

For my card today, I used Pinky from Tiddly Inks, AND for the first time ever, I used Digital paper. You know whats fantastic, Tiddly Inks sells Digital paper that matches perfectly with their images. I LOVE IT!!! I need digi paper to match everything (hehehe). I have also made this card to fit into their challenge this week, Their theme is Goodbye summer! Nothing says goodbye summer like the words "Welcome back to school".

My card today is also designed for this weeks Critter Sketch Challenge! The sketch was wonderfully designed by Melanie, owner of Critter Sketch, and they are being sponsored by Sew Many cards this week.

Well, that is all for me today. I guess I should do some laundry of something (hahaha). Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day! I am going to leave you with some photos of the beach yesterday. Have a great day!

Some Exciting News To Share!!!! and a little Sparkle!

Happy Saturday! I hoping you are enjoying your long weekend. The weather here has been SOOO HOT & HUMID! Living here in the Northeast, we are used to having pretty cool weather, but this summer has been super HOT, and this weekend, the weathermen have been going crazy with Hurricane Earl heading up the coast. Thankfully Earl has decided to down grade to a tropical storm and head out to sea!!! So, as September continues, I am hoping that Mother Nature decides that she is done with hot flash, and throws some cooler weather this way!

Sooo...I told you I have some exciting news for you, and I do. I have been chosen as Wags N Wiskers guest DT this month....Wahooo...I am SOOO excited. The have fantastic images, and they have a amazing team of creative ladies. I am so excited to play with them :)

Wags N Wiskers runs a weekly challenge, and this weeks challenge is Glitter! I used this sweet little fairy Hannah from Wags N Wiskers, and because I wanted to play in WNW challenge this week, I used stickles on her wings and shoes. Can you believe you are seeing Purple on one of my card? Purple is not a color I ordinarily use, but I was at Stamped Designs (one of my LSS), with Mary, Peggy, and Pia, and one of the owners had just taken out this new Bo Bunny paper, and I loved it! I also told Mary & Peggy (who use purple all the time), that I was going to shock them with a purple card! Well, M&P, Do you like it????? Did I do a purple card justice??? hahaha......

Today is a day of first for me, along with posting my first Wags N Wiskers Challenge card, I am also joining Copic Creations Challenge for the first time. This weeks challenge is Pleats and folds. I figure Hannahs dress had this covered. I am always tryingto improve on my coloring, and have been watching a bunch of Suzanne Deans tutorial videos. It has been a huge help. If by small chance you have seen these, you should check them out. They are a MUST SEE!!! She is amazing!

Well, I am off to clean and get my house organized today. I hope you are enjoying the long weekend, and hopefully time allows you to get a little crafty. Have a great day, and happy Creating!

The Stamping Bazaar-Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of The Stamping Bazaar Blog Hop. I have have the pleasure of showing you Marina Neira's new Marvin image. Let me introduce you to Marvin Eating Candy Apple.

I have to tell you, when I first saw this image, I was jumping up and down. It is the cutest image EVER! How stinkin cute is Marvin Eating the Candy apple. I freakin love him. I also had a great time making this card. I feel like the red in the midst of a black and white card, really makes the card pop. On the apple, I applied a glaze to give the apple a shiney, sticky appearence. I am not
sure if you are able to tell this from the pic, and because I love my Martha stewart Goo Punch, I add it whenever possible :)

So, what do you think???? Do you love Marvin as much as I do?

Hey their....thanks so much for stopping by on this very exciting Tuesday. I am so excited that I get to share with you one the NEW images by Marina Neira who is the owner of The Stamping Bazaar. The Stamping Bazaar is a fairly new stamp company, but "I" think they have the cutest stamps EVER! Just take a look at "Marvin the Bat".
