Bloggers Challenge

Good Morning, and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! WOW, I can't believe it's already Friday. This week has Flown by. I am starting to have a mini Kristen panic attack with my semester starting on Monday, and the kids school starting on Tuesday. Although I am looking forward to getting back to some kind of regular schedule, I am not looking forward to putting my baby on the bus for the first time (about to cry just thinking about it).

You see, Abbey is going into third grade, so we have already done this with her for the last 2 years, but my son is going into the first grade and this will be the first year that he will be taking the bus as well as going full day, and when I say full day I mean ALL DAY. They get on the bus at 8:45 am, and don't get home until 4:00pm. That is such a long day. I am sad just thinking about the whole thing.

Well, onto my card.Friday = Bloggers challenge, and the challenge this week is a sketch challenge. I used a Magnolia image i received from my BF KDC
I really struggles making this card and I feel like I am in a HUGE creative slump. Everything I make lately looks like a novice made it. Do you ever feel like that? I sure do hope I hit my head on the creativity tree. I can't stand this.
Well, The kids are playing with some friends, and I am going to try to do laundry and make another card. I hope you all have a FABULOUS weekend, and Happy creating!!!!!

Happy Thursday.....Can you believe it's already Thursday. Where has the week gone? Both the kids and I start school next week and I have SOOOO much to get done before then. I have been dragging all week, between being sick and trying to get back into the swing of things after vacation, and now both my kids and hubby are sick as well. Argh!!!!!

Inky Impressions Wednesday Challenge

Happy Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by on this gorgeous day. Today is Inky Impressions Wednesday challenge, and the challenge being: A SKETCH CHALLENGE As you can see, I followed the wrong sketch (so don;t follow my card). Like I have said, I just can't seem to get myself together after my vacation. I am all sorts of messed up. I sure do hope I can get back to normalcy soon, school starts for both the kids and I next week (so sad).

Fo my card today, I used some scrap DP that I was holding onto, and I used Inky Impressions "Lili's Chicks" stamp. This is one of my favorites. Deep down,under this northern city girl, I think Lies a good ole country girl. Heeheheheehe

Well, That is all for me today. I am off to take the kids school shopping. The list includes sneakers, first day of school outfit, shoes, supplies, and whatever else they decide to con me into. I'm Back!!!!

Happy Monday. I am home from Vacation and I have developed a Sinus Infection and I am having trouble with my asthma. I can't seem to get into the swing of thing. After a 10 hour drive home on Sat, I layed on the couch all day yesterday. Hopefully I can get things together soon. I have a ton of laundry to do and the kids and I go back to school next week. I can't believe it. I am not ready for summer to be over.........

Anyways, we did have a FABULOUS vacation at Ocean City Maryland, and loved everything about it (except the drive). Since I have no cards to share today, I thought I would share some pics. I hope you all have a fabulous day and happy Creating!

Inky Impressions & Catching Up!!!!

Good Morning......It's a Happy Day today. Phew.....It has been so long since I blogged. As I had mention in a previous post, I am on Vacation in Ocean City Maryland, and where I am staying, they don't have WIFI in the rooms. So, if I want to use my laptop, I have to take my laptop down 14 floors to the lobby, find a place to plug in my computer and sit with the rest of the folks. It's very similar to a designated area for smokers, only we're a bunch of computer junkies.
The good news, there is a site I can pay and have WIFI for two days. At first I was a little hesitant, but as of this morning (5am), I NEED IT!!!!!! I feel like a addict (just kidding, well, not really...hehehe).

Yesterday, Over at INKY IMPRESSIONS they hosted their weekly Challenge, and this weeks challenge is to make a card that has been paper pieced in some way. I chose to paper piece Lili's outfit using (my favorite) Basic Grey paper.
I used last weeks MoJO Monday sketch. This is a very simple card for me, as I bought limited supplies with me on vacation. Not bad for a quick card.

GUESS WHAT??????? Inky Impressions is getting ready for a NEW release. I know the stamps are in my mailbox, so I haven;t seen them yet, but their is no doubt in my mind that they are "to die for cute". I won't be able to tell you what they are, but I will let you know what I think when I see them (tease....hehehehe).

Saturday by the Sea!!!!!

Happy Saturday!!!! Just a quick post today, My family and I are off to Ocean city Mayland (staying here), but I wanted to share with you this weeks SU INK & More's challenge card before I go.

The challenge this week is a inspiraion challenge Well, if you read my blog regularly, you know that this set "ocean Commotion " is one of my favorite from SU INK. So, when I saw the inspiration picture, I knew exactly what set I wanted to use. I was also able to play in MJ's Monday Lunchtime sketch challenge this week and used her sketch for my card.

Well, I am off for a week of beach fun and family time. I am hoping to post while I am away, but one never knows what the beach will do to a girl (hehehe). SO, Have a Fabulous weekend, and Happy Creating!

Bloggers Challenge & Inky Impressions Challenge

Happy Friday all!!!!! Wow, here we are at the last few weeks of summer (sad). The weather in New Hampshire has been lovely and I am not really ready for the kids to go back to school in 2 weeks, nor am I ready to start classes again (really sad).

Anyways, todays card is made for both the Bloggers challenge, which theme is Birthday, and this weeks Inky Impressions challenge which is to have a tag involvement. Well, I made my whole card into a tag. It seems the perfect size for a b-day card.

I used Inky Impression's Spring Lili, and nicely fit her into one of my new border stamps (I forget who makes them, maybe DRS), I used my handy dandy Basic Grey paper ,and Violoa, Happy Birthday tag card (hehehehe).

Guess what???? Over at Inky Impressions they are giving away a $10.00 GC if you play in there "tag your it challenge" this week. Also, you have to use a Inky Impressions image. Don;t have any? Three Clover Thursday: It's a Digi Day

Howdy!!!! Happy Thursday all!!!! Today's card is made for Three Clover's Thursday challenge. The challenge being: Digi....You must use a digi image, background whatever, it just has to be Digi.

So, a while back I had purchased a fundraiser image from Pink Cat Studio. So, guess what I used????? Yep, the Pink Cat Studio image. I think it's so cute, and it was supah fun to color.

It's a swinging Sunday & some Good News!

Good Morning! Happy Sunday. It has been a really busy weekend. I have worked for the last four days and going agian today, which leaves little time for stamping (sad face)! I am hoping to get a card in tonight.
What do you think of my new "Angelica's Daydream" stamp from Inky Impressions? I think she is so cute. I spent more time trying to decide what I was going to sitting Angelica on, than making the actual card (hehehe).

So, you know I combine my cards with challenges. This card is good for Three Clovers challege, which was a summer theme, as well as a color challenge over at Inky Impressions (not perfectly, but close).

Whachadoin Wednesday: it's a ocean around here.

GOOD MORNING! It's Wednesday and Wednesday's mean WHachadoin Wednesday challenge over at SU INK & MORE. The challenge today is summer theme. Well, I have the most adorable set from SU INK, and I couldn't wait to use it. The name of this set is "Ocean Commotion", and it is soooo cute. As you can see, I used a bunch of the stamps from the set and wanted to use more of the fish and things, but it was starting to get really crowded. I just love the set.

My card was inspired by a card done by Nikki Estes. I am pretty happy with the way my card came out. Honestly, it too me 2 hours to make this card, and I spent probably 1 1/2 hours just coloring it, but it was so fun. I am not typically a scene kind of card maker, but I like the way this turned out. What do you think?

I also wanted to try to capture the sparkle I put on the fish. I think that was successful.
Well, that is all for me today. I have Beachitis (exhausted from to much vacation, and I am hoping to get a nap in today. Would love for you to play with us today. DO you have a beach card you need/want to make? Come play with us!

Back to School Tuesday

Hello All. I am back from the cape and trying to get back into the groove of things. You know when you get back from a vacation (no matter how long it is) you have to come home and do laundry and try to get stuff back on track. I have to catch up on Big brother (thank God I have DVR). So, the plan is to get things done, get the kids fed and taken care of and then I will be heading down stairs to my Craft world and try to make a couple of cards. I will try to share some Cape Cod pics tomorrow when things settle down.

Today I have another back to school card for you. I know that day is approaching for some of you. I used SU INK & MORE's "vote for me & A Touch of Class" stamp sets.. I was shooting for the teacher/principle affect. What do you think? Did you all have a chance to play in SU Ink's blog hop? I see Terri won....GO TERRI!!!!!!!

For my first set, I used the friendly tree Inkies stamps. I decided I would make three similar and use up all my paper (what to recycle). These would make great gift cards for gifts. I think they are 3 1/2 x 3 1/2.
