Halloween Blog Candy!!!! Goo Punch

Well, we have gone back to school, the nights have started to get cooler, the fall clothes are all out, the Halloween costumes are starting to hit the store. That must mean one thing HALLOWEEN is approaching. My family and I LOVE halloween. No, we are not witches, or vampires, and no we do not believe in all the "spirit" kind of things, but we love to decorate our house and we have even won the city's decorating contest once. Actually, it is must husband who loves to decorate the house and he always does a fabulous job (he is pretty much 36 going on 16 when it comes to this). We run the neighborhood halloween party, and we just love everything about it.

SO, in celebration of of Halloween approaching, I am giving up some Bootiful blog candy. It includes 1. Martha Stewart goo punch. 1. Pak of Recollections Halloween cardstock paper pak. 1. Recollection Halloween stamp set.

So, here's the details.
1. Leave a comment of your favorite Halloween memory/or what you like/dislike about Halloween
2. Follow my blog
3. Link me up on your blog, so you can share the chance with your friends.

I will draw a winner using Random.org on Sunday September 13th. Good luck

Inky Impressions Challenge: Happy Birthday

Wow, it's Friday already. This week has Flown bye. So, Happy Friday all. What a week it has been. My kids started school on Tuesday, and I started the semester on Wednesday. I thought when the kids went to school I would have so much more time, but my time still seems to be limited. How does that happen?

Anyways, Today's card is made for this weeks Inky Impressions challenge. Since September is Nicole's (inky's mama & owner), we are celebrating her all month (Happy Early Birthday Nicole). This weeks challenge is to make a Birthday themed card.

I have had this piece of scrap DP hanging around forever and I have been dying to use it (as I love it), so I decided whatever stamp I was going to use, it was going to go with this paper. I was determined to finally use this DP. SO I grabbed my Inky Impressions "Lili has a secret" stamp and worked away. I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch and made it all work. I have to admit, my coloring isn;t the best here. I don;t love her res top, but I wanted the whole thing to match. I wish I had paper pieced the shirt, but it is what it is.

So, needing to make a Birthday card? Why not play along with the DT over at Inky Impressions. We would love for you to play with us. The more the Merrier.

Well, I am off to try and get some things done. The kids are off today. I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday weekend and thanks for stopping by today. It is really appreciated. Sometimes we get into a creative funk, but is always uplifting when you read such wonderful comments. So again, thank you!!!!!

One more thing before I go, it has been awhile since I have posted some blog candy, so stay tuned tomorrow for some "Booful" blog candy", maybe even a MS punch or something! Have a great weekend!

Bloggers Challenge

Good Morning, and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! WOW, I can't believe it's already Friday. This week has Flown by. I am starting to have a mini Kristen panic attack with my semester starting on Monday, and the kids school starting on Tuesday. Although I am looking forward to getting back to some kind of regular schedule, I am not looking forward to putting my baby on the bus for the first time (about to cry just thinking about it).

You see, Abbey is going into third grade, so we have already done this with her for the last 2 years, but my son is going into the first grade and this will be the first year that he will be taking the bus as well as going full day, and when I say full day I mean ALL DAY. They get on the bus at 8:45 am, and don't get home until 4:00pm. That is such a long day. I am sad just thinking about the whole thing.

Well, onto my card.Friday = Bloggers challenge, and the challenge this week is a sketch challenge. I used a Magnolia image i received from my BF KDC
I really struggles making this card and I feel like I am in a HUGE creative slump. Everything I make lately looks like a novice made it. Do you ever feel like that? I sure do hope I hit my head on the creativity tree. I can't stand this.
Well, The kids are playing with some friends, and I am going to try to do laundry and make another card. I hope you all have a FABULOUS weekend, and Happy creating!!!!!
