Happy Tuesday. Thank you for stopping by. Did you have a good weekend? Mine flew by. I had to work on Sat night, and then my daughter had her first gymnastics competition on Sunday. She did so good. I am so proud of her. I will add some pics at the end of this post


So, onto my card. I am so proud of my self, I am using this card for 2 different challenges. I first chose my sketch and went with this weeks Mojo Monday., and then picked up a challenge over at KL Stampin N Scrappin. Their challenge was to make a card that was black and white plus one neutral color. Well, I have had this pig forever and I have never used him, so I thought I would give home a try. He was a pain in the tail to color, because He is so big, but I think it turned out OK. what do you think? Do you want to play in the KLSS black & white challenge? you should head over. Pink Cat New Release & Three Clover Thursday challenge

Happy Thursday......I am so excited to show you my card today. Why you ask? well, I struggled with this card for so long. I had my image colored and ready to go, but I just wasn't sure on my paper. Well, after much back and forth, I decided on this paper, My Minds Eye. I wanted my card to have a manly touch to it, and that is why I pulled in the green/blue. I also used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch challenge. Yahoo, 2 challenges in one. Love it!

THREE CLOVER THURSDAY CHALLENGE

This weeks Three Clovers Challenge is to make a card that has to do with your New Years Resolution. Well, my New Years resolution is to weed out everything that makes me unhappy, whether it be a person, place or thing. One of the biggest things that makes me unhappy is my weight. I have battled a weight issue most of my life and I have decided that this is it. The weight doesn't own me, I own it. I am the one that needs to control my weight, and with that comes better eating habits and more exercise. So that is the theme of my card today. This card will be heading to my good friend Pia, as the two of us are always on a diet.

Inky Impressions challenge

Happy Wednesday, and Happy Fall.  Can you believe that fall has arrived already?  Here in New Hampshire, we have been seeing signs of Fall for a few weeks.  It has started getting cooler, the leaves have started to change, and all the local farms are full of Mums, pumkins and fresh picked apples.  MMMmmm..this is my absolute favorite time of year.
 My card today was made for Inky Impressions Wednesday challenge.  This weeks challenge is to make a card and use 4 different embellishments. Embellishments are easy right.  I also combined my Inky Challenge with this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.

Whachadoin Wednesday Challenge:Inspiration

Happy Wednesday!!! Wow, it's already the middle of the week. For all of you that celebrate Labor day, did you have a great weekend? I worked both Sat, Sunday, but Monday we took the kids to a local fair. It was a sure sign that fall is approaching. We had a nice time. There was lots of animals, some horse shows, and the kids had a great time playing on the tractors, and the weather was fabulous. What did you do.

Today's card is made for SU INK & MORE's Whachadoin Wednesday Challenge. Today's challenge is a inspiration challenge (when I am able to get the photo I will post here). My thought on the photo was to go toward the color scheme. I decided to use SU INK's You're a Hoot stamps set. I have a thing going on with the owls lately. They are just so darn cute. I used This weeks Mojo Monday sketch, and I have to admit, I love the sketch. it could be easily used so many times.

Inky Impressions Challenge: Happy Birthday

Wow, it's Friday already. This week has Flown bye. So, Happy Friday all. What a week it has been. My kids started school on Tuesday, and I started the semester on Wednesday. I thought when the kids went to school I would have so much more time, but my time still seems to be limited. How does that happen?

Anyways, Today's card is made for this weeks Inky Impressions challenge. Since September is Nicole's (inky's mama & owner), we are celebrating her all month (Happy Early Birthday Nicole). This weeks challenge is to make a Birthday themed card.

I have had this piece of scrap DP hanging around forever and I have been dying to use it (as I love it), so I decided whatever stamp I was going to use, it was going to go with this paper. I was determined to finally use this DP. SO I grabbed my Inky Impressions "Lili has a secret" stamp and worked away. I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch and made it all work. I have to admit, my coloring isn;t the best here. I don;t love her res top, but I wanted the whole thing to match. I wish I had paper pieced the shirt, but it is what it is.

Make a Splash on Monday!

Good Morning. Did you have a nice weekend? Ours was very busy, but nice. Today is my kids last day of school, and I am starting to feel a little relieved. Sports are coming to an end,a nd I will have more time to make cards (I'm hoping).

Today I used one of Digi Shacks new Lani image's "Mermaid". I love this images and I truly enjoyed coloring her. I love that I can make the digital images any size I want. What do you think of her eye shadow ? Hehehehe... I think she's darling.

I used last weeks Mojo Monday sketch, and used some new "My Minds Eye" paper. Some very pretty stuff. It came in a big pack and I only paid $10.00 for it. Love coupons.
