Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #59

You know what they say about March, "In like a Lion and out like a Lamb". So far that is proving true. We got a whopping 14 inches of snow today. School got cancelled for both the kids and I (yeah). Although I am happy that to have a School free day, I am truly sick of the snow. We have had SO much snow this year. I am ready to start seeing those tree buds and the grass.

So, what did I do with my day? I cleaned the house and my scrap space (I will share photos tomorrow), played with the kids, and made a card.

My card today was made for Mary Jo's Monday sketch Challenge #59. I had colored this bunny stamp yesterday during the Copic certification class I took with Sally Lynn MacDonald. So yep, I am Certified. Certifiably crazy, I ended up buying more Copics during the class (don't tell my hubby), and now I feel like I NEED the air brush system (approx $300.00). Do any of you have this, any version of it, and if so, do you love it. Would you buy it again? Do I need it? I really, really liked playing with it.

Well, I am off to do some studying. I hope you all had a MAGNIFICENT Monday!

Materials: Stamps-Whipper Snapper bunny, SUINK sentiment. Paper: Making Memories, SU cardstock. Ink: Copics, Memento black. Misc: cuttlebug folders, pop dots, punches, Kaiser pearls.

Like you, I too, am sick of the snow, though we haven't had quite as much as you...yet! Looking forward to April as much as you! BTW, this is one adorable card! I am always in awe of your masterpieces which inspire me to no end!

I don't get snow days any more so I am a little jealous. Great card! I love the colors!

Beautiful card!

We even got a dusting of snow on the coast of NC last night. This weather has been crazy this year. It was 70 degrees a couple of days ago and then suppose to be in the 70's in a couple more days. lol Pure craziness.

I won't tell you husband if you don't tell mine. I have another order of copics arriving on Friday ;-)

Love the bunny, it turned out great, I love seeing the shading and shadowing.

Don't envy you all up there with the snow. We'll be playing baseball tonight though in the 30 degree weather which we'll be FREEZING!

I thought you could get a airbrush system much cheaper that that? I have been considering it and would not at that price.

Fabulous card, that bunny is so cute. Great shading.

Thanks for playing.

That is really beautiful, Kristen!!

Isn't Sally Lynn great?! I knew her from an online group and went up to Concord to take a ranger class with her a few years back.

Glad you got your snow day!
